ModeratorAnd virtually no parts actually have the part number used by suppliers on them so don’t bother pulling it out first.;)

ModeratorYou would have to host the video on a video sharing platform then post a link.
The thing is worn or weak suspension can only cause poor spin if is causing the drum to bounce around when the machine is trying to distribute the load leading to out of balance. That is when it is turning a little faster than a wash speed to plaster the clothes to the side of the drum. Once it is balanced and going smoothly into spin it ‘should’ continue up to the full speed for the selected wash programme.
Does the machine appear to be draining correctly?

ModeratorDoes it appear to be having difficulty balancing the load before going into spin, is it swaying from side to side noticeably? The suspension on these is quite robust generally. A serious ‘out of balance’ condition should throw up an error message, I think it’s 3 dashes in the display window. The easiest way to check the suspension is to unplug the mains cable, then remove the lid. Press down on the top of the drum and quickly release. The drum should come back up to it’s normal position in one smooth action, it should not push down easily or bounce back.

ModeratorLifter removal instructions in case you can’t f ind your manual

ModeratorSomething I have never encountered on one of these? Would tend to suspect a control board fault rather than door lock itself but that is pure speculation I’m afraid. Spares for these are very limited now and the main control board is very expensive. It is a bit of a faff using the emergency release but it might the the best option if the machine is still working.

ModeratorWas the ball bearing nice and shiny? I don’t think I have ever seen a ball bearing from any make of washing machine make it’s way into the drum, nigh on impossible. Have you still got your user manual? You can find instructions in that showing how to easily remove one of the plastic drum lifters to check for anything lying inside the drum that shouldn’t be there.
Also remove the drain pump filter and check for anything in there.
Check that both of the thin springs on the top of the drum are in place and secure. If you don’t find anything then run the machine with the top and back of to try and see where the noise is coming from.Turn the drum by hand through the door opening, it should be virtually silent.

ModeratorTo be honest the only time I have changed mains suppressors on any appliance is because they have either gone down to earth or exploded. I suppose the only way to know would be to replace the mains suppressor.
iadom
ModeratorAll domestic appliances have to have a mains suppressor fitted by law. It’s not on the motor, the mains cable feeds directly into the suppressor. Wouldn’t expect a 3 phase motor to cause much ‘noise’ though?

ModeratorAll three almost certainly Indesit made appliances behind the badge.:(
