One wonders why you have a multimeter yet don’t know how to use it. πŸ˜₯
    You test for insulation leaks.

Yes, the only way to be certain is to test the heating element with a suitable multimeter or meggar, or just change the heating element.

A very well documented fault on these Candy appliances .

There is a model listed as an EWDE7125S58 which does have a different seal, part #C00505321.

Correct part number according to Partfinder, wouldn’t be the first time a part has been bagged up incorrectly though. πŸ˜‰

No mention at all of a later alternative either.

Have you actually compared old and new side by side?

    What is the commercial code?

AFAIK BSH dryers haven’t reversed for some time now.

Well I would have had to do if the customers had agreed to foot the bill, sadly no takers.
Also know of one or two other engineers on here with this fault, at least one did replace the pcb to cure the fault.

I have had the exact same module failure on 3 of these machines sad to say. πŸ™

Re: Hotpoint FDW60 lower spray arm mot turning

Could be a faulty half load solenoid, if it was stuck in half load mode then water is supplied to top arm only.

Have you checked door wiring harness.

Can send you a manual if it would be of any use to you.
PM me an email address if you want it.

    Jim.

Re: Hotpoint WF321 – flashing red lights

Is every single light flashing rapidly or just certain ones blinking slowly.

If they are all flashing rapidly then in most cases that is a known capacitor fault on the main circuit board.

Re: Indesit IWDE126(UK) – Water Valve

A complete shambles on Partfinder. πŸ™

The diagram shows a double valve and also a hot valve with the same position number (33) but the parts list and picture show a treble valve.

However the wiring diagram is equally confusing and appears to show three valves?????

All a bit muddled now but I think there was a mod a while back that did away with one of the valves, then again I could have just dreamt that. πŸ™‚
