Have never needed to use any lube when fitting door seals. However if you are going to use it then the ” intimate” lubes are the best to use as they are by their very nature safe to use on latex and rubber products.
Do keep a tube of KY in hand to use on O rings
Just dont be tempted to reach for the Vaseline 😉

Check the carbon blocks that run on the drum if it has them
If they are worn and making poor contact will stop the machine, probably with the check filter lights flashing
