Re: Bosch Gas Hob not lighting

Would guess at a broken igniton wire to that burner OR a broken/damages ignition unit. *** Please note*** you would have to strip the appliance to find this out, being a gas hob I would advise you to get a gas safe domestic appliance engineer to have a look for you.

Re: Dead grill diplomat 620 oven?

Yes it is more than likely the grill element, but that is not a definate. As for do you need to pull it out, I would have said no ( due to the visible screw in the centre of the element) but then again that is not a definate , and last but not least the cost to replace would probably be around £40 – £50 + Parts + VAT.This should take no longer than about 1/2 – 3/4 hr.

    Hope that helps

they are ok but not great. Better off saving up a bit more money and getting something that will have the probability of lasted that bit longer.

Agree with the 2 above, do quite alot of R/M work and this would be the most logical explanation.

Had a slug in the burner of a leisure range once, thew me for a while, checked gas pressure and ffd ,all read out, but the damn thing had blocked the burner pipe internally and I could not see it untill i took it out!! got it out with my screwdriver, bit by bit URGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!
