    Re: AW23 soap hose

As Ken says I went to one yesterday and found that the seam on the tub was hitting bang in the centre of the hose just below the dispenser clamp.

I took the bottom plate off and could see that the L/H suspension leg below the soap drawer was twisted towards the back of the machine, I took the top spring off at the back panel and the leg straightened up. So I jammed a pair of mole grips onto the spring and stretched it slightly and refitted. The seam on the tub had moved forward about an inch and is now clear of the soap hose.

Before doing this look at the front counterweight in relation to the the steel bar behind the control panel, if it is the same as the one I went to the counterweight will be miles off being parallel with the bar.

Look in the shop at part number 082233401. This looks like the one you need.

BTW are you sure the fan is faulty, if the fan is going slow or not at all it is usualy the little pcb at the back of the oven that causes the problem.

A golfer is cupping his hand to scoop water from a Highland burn on the famous golf course at St Andrews .

    Suddenly, a groundskeeper shouts:
‘Dinnae drink tha waater! Et’s foo ae coo’s shite an pith!’
    The golfer replies:
‘Excuse me, my good fellow, I’m from England .
Could you repeat that for me, in English, please!?’
    The keeper replies:

‘I said, use two hands – you’ll spill less that way!

tell me about it 👿 I think that most of the guys on here who are gas safe registered like me do it because they have to, if I had a choice I would drop it in a heartbeat.

    Re: Dual cookers

I had a Gassafe inspection a couple of months ago and brought this question up with the inspector and he told me that anyone can repair the electrical side of an appliance be it a hob, cooker or combi boiler as long as they do not dismantle gas carrying pipe or fittings, as Jazzmiester said above you cannot disconnect the gas hose if you are working on an appliance and are not Gassafe registered but you can ask the customer to disconnect and reconnect after you have repaired it.

SIOS lists a complete outer door but the rest comes as individual parts.

Looks like 481245058984 is the inner glass. I would confirm that before ordering as the picture is a bit vague.

Which part of the door do you need as it does not come complete?
