    Hi Simon,

It looks as if you have received the wrong part in the bag, I cannot get that number on either SIOS or ASTRO so according to Whirlpool it is not available.

481228208648 is listed as “thermostat and selector switch” and that is what comes whenever I order one.

IIRC the right and left hand switch part numbers are crossed in SIOS, so if you want the right one order the left one.

    try this

Turn main oven switch to “OFF”
Press middle button 3 times IIRC till it displays a small clock on the bottom r/h side of the display.
Turn right hand knob till correct time is reached.
Press middle button to set time and it should all work OK then.

I am sure that Sean made that cake on Saturday night and asked some of us to help, but then again maybe it was a hallucination

Nah….we have all gone or are soon to be in bed, I am knackered. 😆
Big thanks to Ken and Tracey for organising a cracking couple of nights out. Those that came I am sure will agree a stunning setting for a function and a first class venue. For those that didn’t make sure and book early for next christmas.

I don’t know the part number but the AKG668 IIRC is a Stoves made oven.

On some of these fridge freezers the replacement stat changes from a Ranco to Atea type or vice versa, if this is the case you need a new connector block part number 4812 466 99007 which should cure the problem

    Re: Whirlpool 3XLER5435HQ-0 Tumble Drier,

If it is the motor quote for the fan as well. In a lot of cases the little buuger wont come off and the only way to remove it is to smash it with a hammmer.
