Had the same problem before where there was no blockage, pump sounded fine, took the filter off and it turned OK when set to drain but would not empty.

Found when testing supply at pump that voltage was very low, IIRC it was about 90v. Timer change and all was well.

Why not? just delete them (executive powers), the website is based in the USA and I will bet he wont ask for help with his Hoover twin tub. All he wants is a presence in the off chance people look at his site.

The part number is 481281718529. If you send an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk Dave will let you know if it is available.

Generation 2000 is the generic name for a lot of B&Q appliances. If you take the cover off you will see a label with a number 12 digits long starting with 85

Post that number and someone will come up with the info you want.

There are 7 different versions of that machine, do you have the 12nc number?

Re: Door Seal for a Whirlpool washing machine

If the face of the seal looks OK it is usualy the soap dispenser that is casing the problem. When you get the leak look closely at the area between the door and the control panel at 11 o’clock for a slight trickle of water, if there is water trickling down from the panel to behind the door then give the soap drawer a good clean.

If the bottom of the drawer or the jets on top get blocked it will cause a leak that runs along the bottom of the fascia and then goes down behind the door making you think it is the door seal at fault.

Maybe I am being cynical but if electric cars/vans ever did take off in the UK the goverment at the time would find a reason for some kind of road tax.

They have just had a change of part number from 481931088019 to 481281729457. £19.83 retail for the pair.

I did think about the claim that it can fast charge in 10 minutes, it must come with a telescopic pole that you hook over electricity pylons. 😯
