Agree totaly but we need to be seen to be moderating (in open forums at least 😈 ) He deserved it!!!!

BUT we also need to maintain some decorum so I think a prompt apology from PGS is called for (with the post left in place )

    Re: integrated fridge freezers

If I had a penny for every time I have been told ” You are the only agent who does that ” I would be be a richer man. 😆

Whirlpool pay for 2 man installs on all built in fridge/freezers, double ovens, cooker hoods and washer dryers and also pick up the old appliance.

Are you expected to dispose of the old appliance?

Also if you are their first tier agent for the area and the job is taken from you I assume it must go to the second tier agent, are most of them not one man bands?

Methinks the fisher of men is taking the piss 😈

You are an evil man but the idea is sound 😆

We had one a few months ago when they called us and asked if we would go and repair a dishwasher cause their engineer could not diagnose the problem.
The funny part was when they asked if their guy could visit the customer with our engineer so that he could show him how to fix it.

    Points for trying though 😆

Just drove by the Comet service centre in Leicester on Friday and noticed that it is boarded up and closed for business.

A bit of streamlining methinks ???

Have you got an address and I will ask one of my engineers to drive by and check if he is still open for business?
also what is his username on the site?

    Re: interesting post

I am watching this one closely for a different reason, I want to see if it works!!!!!!

As someone who buys between 30 to 50 of these boards a week I want to know if it works, 💡 if it does I am going to get all the old boards back into the office and will start a recon line.

Lokring is probably spot on. It is quite common for the tube the capillary goes through to freeze up so defrost overnight and it should come out.

    Re: Whirlpool 3LTE5243 WASHER DRYER

that model is a blast from the past, the last one of them I saw was about 7 years ago.

Very simple machine to work on but looks a bit daunting a first sight, it is just a normal American top loading washing machine with an American dryer stuck on top.

No heater in the washing machine so if it is jamming on the wash, rinse or spin cycle I gues it would be the timer sticking. same goes for the drying cycle. Both timers are now obselete.

Back half tub is about 88 quid retail. I would check and see if drum spider is OK before even considering buying back half

    Drum costs 128 quid retail!!!!!
