    Re: Hotpoint fridge too cold

There was a problem with the tube that the phial sits in not being foamed in correctly and moving out of position on some causing the temp not to be picked up.

Re: Hotpoint Aqualtis AQM8F49I Washer Dryer F13

The dryer thermistor on these is the same as the wash thermistor, and it causes some funny faults F13 you also get them not pumping change the thermistor and its cured, i’d try a new one and also check the harness where it clips to the cabinet the thin wires sometimes break causing intermitant F13 faults.

Dont forget the couple of boxes of descaler they are browbeaten to buy, was talking to another engineer today who had a call to and old man for a leak the old guy had used to much soap powder causing it to leak, he paid £160 over 10 months plus 2 years supply of descaler/detergent remover for another £25 we are in a soft water area, it all about how much they can fleece the customers.

Most of the ones i’ve had like this have been in rural locations and ive rewrote the module to cure, i think spikes in the voltage or something must screw them up.

I’d check the links on the mains terminal block if they are loose or not been tightened properly that can cause them to trip.
