    You have to hold the reader onto the back of the module to get it to connect, you are a brave man having a go on one of these was the module blown if so you will need a door as well all the Indesit engineers dread going to them, good luck you will need it.

    No Jim it is an old built in washing machine, i had a job 3 years ago on this for a door handle kit, i couldnt find it anywhere, i eventualy seen somebody selling the whole machine on ebay, i bid for it and won he wasnt happy when i asked him to remove the door and post it to me as that was all i wanted from it cheers JJ

    Getting loads of 7kg machines with the bearings going, also had a few with loose back bearing had to fit back half to cure,

    I got a couple of phone calls the other week about how my spend with them has dropped, wanting to know if it is my workload is tailing off, i told them then it was the price structure and i use anybody else now and only use them if i’m stuck, a servis module connect wanted approx £100 both qualtex and masterpart wanted about £32 plus vat how they can justify it is beyond me it can make the differance of getting the job or not. JJ

    I’ve given up on the titanium bits the last lot i bought wouldnt look at them, i bought half a dozen 8,mm cobalt drills and a tin of drilling and tapping fluid for about £25, and it is like night and day, JJ

    It doesnt look like any of them John it looks like the second one but is a normal red spot stat fitted to that type of bracket i’ll take a picture and upload it later today, i’m just wondering if its been superseded to the second one cheers JJ

    The part i’m after is not the stat and cut out on the heat box they tested okay, there is a four terminal stat and another 2 terminal cut out or stat, situated on the exhaust pipe, the 2 terminal stat is open circuit, i have trawled the internet spending hours trying to find this part, i thought i had cracked it, and i ordered the only one on the drawings i have just received it and it is the wrong one i have got which is the 4 terminal bias stat, can anybody help ple…………….ase, cheers JJ

    C00257654 is the correct part n/o if it has the 3 stats, and C00260053 if it has 2 stats, the part you are trying to order only got fitted after 11/2010 it has a differant plug on it cheers JJ

    I’m sure if these dont sense water in them the pump wont run, they use a linear pressure switch, you have to watch when working on them if you tip them to far back it screws them upJJ

    Prob’ly the console board i usaly plug in one of the the other Hotpoint console boards i may have and see if it lights to confirm it cheers JJ
