Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

Had two calls today to washing machines, advised customers their dryers needed mods done both had been told they were not one of the ones affected, not the first time i’ve heard this told them to get back onto them.

Yes not to bothered to be honest, i only did it to take up some of the slack from when i ditched Indesit i found them to be just as bad, i only did 10 or 12 calls a month but was getting fed up with paying my account off early due to the cost of spares for their jobs , i asked to get it increased but it fell on deaf ears i make enough with my regulars without killing myself, after knocking my pan in running around achieving nothing with indesit then working late trying to do my own, it feels strange making more or less the same as i did before vat free and stress free.

    Re: vat

Told me it was due to new processes introduced and there was no way round it, piss all to do with processes it’s cause they cannot claim the vat back on a non vat registered company.

Had a phone call from repair care wanting to talk about kpi, and that he had heard a rumour that I didn’t want to do any more work for them, told him it was repair care that pulled the rug not me and I had no intention in registering for vat again.
