What motor is on it, if it is anFHP motor check the wiring tied to the back of motor, you will probably find orange wire chaffing which causes one shot to blow.

As a rule i lways replace a stretch belt, and as bob says check for foreign bodys in the drum, if you refit old belt you will prob’ly be back sometime to refit it again, as for the plastic pulley i’ve never had that causing it, thats not say this one isnt.

I was called to fit a V2 tub only to find everything but the cabinet in a big cardboard box wiring looms the lot, i asked who stripped it down was told it was her hubby who is a mechanic, after a few curses i set to work just short of 2 hours for a v2 tub, as i finished in walks hubby ah! you got it sorted okay i retorted next time my gearbox plays up i’ll strip it down shove it in a box for you to rebuild for me, he agreed he was out of his depth and it was the missus nagging him to try and fix it.

I use the pulley to tension the belt, remove retaining screw nearest you on pulley bracket slacken the back one then tension by pulling towards you clipping the pulley bracket lug into motor refit and tighten screws, i usualy do them in about 15 to 20 minsif it is just a belt change.

I’ve seen this a few times and it scares the shit out of me, how anybody can be so silly is beyond me, i was called to a machine which sombedy about lost their hand due this practice, trouble was it wasnt the numpty who did it who had to go and inspect it, the cust tried make a claim against the Manufacturer claiming it was faulty manufacture, needless to say old numpty head got sued and went bust.

Michael Jackson signing for Liverpool. Apparently the prospect of being spanked by 11 kids at home was too good a proposition to turn down!

Why invest in Torx bits when a small electrical screwdriver does the job.

Is there a couple buttons jammed in as this will lock out module and you wont be able to do anything until they are freed.
