Good morning Steve,
Thank you for your excellent advice.
Will carry out suggested mod’s!
Yes, original “O” rings rather expensive.

Hello Jem,
Thank you for your feedback.
Do you possibly have a drawing of the above machine’s gearbox and clutch assemblies, or know where I can obtain one?
Happy Easter,

Good evening,
Thank you for your help,
It was the microswitch causing the problem.

Thank you Martin,
Do you know where I can obtain a wiring diagram for this model?
I have had difficulty obtaining such diagrams from Bosch/NEFF/Siemens in the past, and it would be handy to have a look at one.

Good evening,
Re-checked micro-switches and pressure chamber, before renewing ecu.
Unfortunately, all well apart from not heating.
I programmed the ecu as per instructions, and can only assume it is faulty.
However, new ecu from Masterpart and thus, I feel, not guaranteed!
Any thoughts,

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTE84102GB/05 Condensor Tumble Dryer Relay/Sensor?
Dryer problem looking very much like faulty electronic control module to me.
Have replaced both temp’ sensors now, and problem remains; cutting out randomly, and re-powering back up randomly too, before immediately cutting out again, or working perfectly for several hours, before breaking down again.
Any thoughts on other possible causes appreciated.

Thanks for your help Martin.
Have checked and double checked heat pump, and it is fine.
Resistances as per spec’s.

Good evening Wizard,
Thanks for your post.
I’ve insulation tested the mains lead, which is good, so really struggling with this problem.
Wiring loom appears good too; now I do not know where to continue in order to determine fault!

Back to the Drawing Board,
Bosch unable to offer any technical help, so I’ll carry out some further wiring loom inspections over the weekend.
Thank you Tim for your sensible thoughts.
I am a little upset that an “Appliance Wizard” chooses to post inappropriate comments on this excellent forum, such as “This job’s getting expensive.
I can confirm that the heat pump is not the “source of all this aggro.”
As mentioned, I tested this component in situ’ which is quite an awkward job in itself, and obtained satisfactory Ohms resistance readings.
This appliance has been fitted with the modified heat pump and associated wiring, possibly under warranty, although I cannot confirm with the customer due to their ill health.
Having had a look at exactly where the control module has been damaged, I can confirm it is not in the vicinity of the multi plugs related to the heating section/s.
The module has been damaged in the six pin multi plug area, ( two red, two yellow, and two blue wires connected via a multi plug.
Can anyone provide a wiring diagram for this m/c as I do not know which section of the module/wiring etc the above relates to.
Kind regards,
jonty

Mmmm,
The appliance has the modified heat pump and associated wiring, which gave the approximate Ohms readings obtained online.
Hence, I was as sure as can be that the module was faulty and renewed it.
I will contact Bosch, although I don’t expect any advice/information.

Thanks for such a rapid response stratfordgirl!
Will return, and test heater.
Do you know if the heater is reasonably accessible, or where I can obtain a wiring diagram?
Kind regards,

Good evening,
Have fitted the above TOC this afternoon, yet fault remains.
However, the new TOC is giving an infinity Ohms resistance reading on my multimeter, as is the original.
I expect a 0.2 to 0.4 reading usually, so wondering if new part is faulty?
Any thoughts?
