Re: Bosch SRS45E22GB/01 Dishwasher Drain Problem

    Thank you Martin,

Further investigation found a partial blockage in the drain hose between m/c and sink unit.

Fortunately I managed to clear it, as the hose goes under the kitchen floor due to location of m/c!

    Best wishes,

    Good morning,

Could you let me know where above thermistor is located, as I have inherited a m/c with same error code.

    Regards,

    Re: Bosch WF02866GB/07 NO SPIN

    Good morning,

Yes, I have a Megger Insulation Tester.

However, I don’t wish to inadvertently damage the motor, by sending 500 volts down the wrong terminals.

Some advice on this eight terminal motor would be appreciated.

    Best wishes,

    Re: Bosch WF02866GB/07 NO SPIN

Thank you so much for your advice Martin,

It certainly does appear to be the electronic control module at fault, as the time remaining display does jump down from 12 or 11 minutes to 1 minute, thus aborting the programme on spin.

The m/c will not spin at all.

I have checked for Ohms resistance across the motor terminals, although am rather non-plussed, as there are eight terminals, and I don’t know which terminal does what!

I also realise electronic control modules are difficult to test if there is nothing obviously “blown” etc.

That is why I wondered if there was a test procedure… I did also try the search facility prior to to requesting assistance, but there was nothing relating to this m/c.

    Best wishes,

    Thank you chaps,

I’ve considered the above, but will return to check as I was unable to fathom!

I tried the m/c on several different spin selections to no avail.

Would the heater still be a possible problem , considering it will not spin at all?

    Evening all,

Traced the above problem to a poor switch connection.

    Re: Gorenje WA61121 Art: 104749

Thank you for your input clockworkone, and sorry for the delay!

After all my checks and tests, the thermistor appears to have been at fault.

I checked this, and the heater early on in my investigation, and both gave good readings and appeared fine.

However, I have renewed the thermistor, and all is well.

Seems like it was playing up on the 40 degree cycle, thus not progressing.

    Kind regards,

    jontymox

    Re: Gorenje WA61121 Art: 104749

    Thanks Paul,

I have just checked for blockages as suggested, but all fine.
The m/c is now in my workshop, and drains fine.

The m/c is making no attempt to drain when a wash cycle is selected… purely continues on wash/agitate cycle indefinetly.

I’m wondering if there is a wiring or earth fault.

    Best wishes,

    Good evening gandh1,

Please could you enlighten me, as I don’t understand what you mean by “blocked waste spike on plumbing.”

    Thanks Ray,

Yes, the spring ends locate in the outer frame as you rightly say.

Now spring tension achieved, all well.

    Martin,

Wondering if you received my correspondence re: my email address?

I would appreciate the diagnostic procedure, so that I can close this job.

    Kind regards,

    Thanks chaps,

    Agreed, probably no fault.

Could you let me know how to carry out the diagnostic cycle, as I don’t have that information.

    Thank you.
