Re: Fisher Paykel DS605 dish washer

    HI
How high is the water when the drawer stops? is it over the rack at the bottom?
what happens when the drawer stops does it beep 3 times every minute and if it has a display is there a dish symbol flashing?
or if no display does the blue light flash?
Reason I ask is could be infa-red issue causing the drawer to pause when hot.
Newer control modules have an offset prism to stop this issue (the old way was to add a spacer onto the right hand runner to lift the right side up by a few mm)

    Hi Nichog

99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance it is the heater plate part number 528616 (if it is a 603)
the 1{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is a faulty control module not operating the heater.
It is a bit tricky changing the heater plate as the drawer has to come out and be rotated 360* to access it.
So I would advise getting an expert in who has experience with the product.
    Good luck

Re: Fisher & Paykal Dish Drawer Fault Code

sounded like a communication fault from board to board or a faulty mains filter board/burn out harness.

bottom light mostly means one of your fans is not working.
usually due to a broken wire.

most repairs can be done with machine installed apart from waste hose and inlet hose problems (mice)

We get a lot of calls to repair mistakes from other engineers that have been called out and most are simple mistakes.

Re: Fisher Paykel DD603: upper horrible noise, lower won’t d

    Hi

I’ve manged to remove the drawers from the runners and inspect inside but is it actually possible to unplug the variuous cables and completely remove the drawers?

it is possible but not usually necessary and the first one can be tricky.

How do I know what mode I am in with a non-LCD model? Where is this documented? Have looked in vain in User Guide and both install PDFs.

when in diagnostics the red lights above the program symbols light up to the corresponding component.

Any suggestions as to what can I try now? A lot of people seem to recommend removing a panel at the back of the bottom drawer and drying interior out with a hairdryer – could this fix a draining problem?

No but does (sometimes) cure a F1 fault (flood switch activated)

With regards to the noise it is usually caused by glass damaging the rotor motor and motor housing, sometimes one or both need to be changed.
The bottom drawer not draining most likely is a blockage in the tube between the filter and rotor motor.
good luck and if you do find someone nearby make sure they know the machines well.

    Re: fisher paykel fridge freezer

Ok if both fans are ok no loose join at the fan end for the top fan or where the wires are pinched for the bottom fan my next guess would be…

Defrost heater could be open circuit or the heat transfers that clip on the heater and go to the backplate could have fallen off causing a block of ice to build up in the air vent behind the evaporator.
    Good luck[/img]

Test if the fan at back of fridge is working.
the fan is situated behind the backplate inside the fridge odds are you will find that one of the wires that go into the fan has broken.

Very very unusual to be a thermistor/sensor prob only ever changed 2
    Good luck

    Re: Fisher paykel DD605H

I would unclip the inlet hose from the softener and aim into large bowl or bucket and run the valve in diagnostics to make sure there is not a blockage in the hose. I have seen it once where the hose was blocked with green particles.
