    Re: servis 4605s not heating

the reading on the first one sounds too low. i’d expect it to be somewhere around 15 to 20 kohms. hope that helps. i’m surprised nobody else has commented.

i doubt it. if it is a normal stat it should be either open or closed and no resistance when closed.

the flash once sequence can look like its continous. so i’d check the thermister. easily done by plugging in a new one for about £16. if you do dishwashers you’d do yourself a favour eventually by having one on the van.

Re: Hotpoint main oven diamond regulator C00229478

you might have the same problem that is ongoing for me. i bought a thermostat and wired everything up as was and BANG!!! the consequential damage was ridiculous. i was advised later that the terminals had been changed in the later stat but the was NO info with the part. i’ve tried and tried in vain to get a wiring diagram for the cooker, even the hotpoint engineers haven’t got one.
so if its the same i wouldn’t hold out much hope.

Re: ADP8322 7 FLASHES FLOW METER FAULT

    hi there.
there are tons of info regarding this on the forum. the plow meter is located in the panel on the left side. normally it will have two thin white wires attached to a circuit board which is shaped similar to a mobile sim card. on it there is a small reed switch which may be faulty, or the contacts may just need a clean. if you do a search you’ll find many more opinions on this.

funny you should say that cos it crossed my mind too. it definately worked better for the customer than for me. only thing as i said was that he could get a response from all other buttons except the start button.
i will give him a ring and tell him to try it again with the paper.
    thanks for reply.

have a look for the other posts about this fault. if memory serves me correct it is the circuit board and it most probably is an electrolytic capacitor that has blown. i don’t know which one but the info is on forum somewhere.

    Re: servis 4605s not heating

dont know if yours is the same but. recently i went to a servis not heating. the fault was that the temp stat which should have been open closing on temp was in fact closed. the result was that the machine skipped the heat cycle thinking it was already hot. if you remove the stat it will normally say eithe nc normally closed or na normally open. if yours says na then check it for continuity between terminals. if it has then its faulty. hope this helps

i agree they are the ONLY ones that i recommend as an integrated machine bearing in mind that you can spend nearly as much and get a real heap.
