The baffle is a motorised flap valve affair that opens to divert cold air into the fridge.
It is a moot point though as it was part number C00216765 and that is now obsolete with no alternatives that I can locate.

There are two fans, a cooling fan and the oven fan that sits inside the fan element. The latter you should see turning or, it should be reasonably obvious it’s okay as it’d be blowing air.
I’d say that leaves you with probably the cooling fan spinning up, which you can’t see and not a lot else happening by the sound of it.
Please correct if I’m wrong.
If this is the case then there’s three things that would be standouts as possible areas of trouble which are:
The function selector switchburned out. NOTES
The safety thermostat is open circuit. NOTES
The main oven thermostat has failed and is open circuit. NOTES
Each link to each part is the one for that model. Each “NOTES” takes you to more info on each including how to test most of them or what to look for.

It would have to be acknowledged that, so far at least, Martin is correct and the chance of fire on a heat pump dryer is lower. Thus far I’ve not heard or seen a single instance but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible.

If it’s in a green tub and isn’t liquid then it *should* have bleach in it so, no good for colours.
And, so far as I can tell as they don’t appear on Ariel’s website that I can find at least, they do indeed contain oxo-bleach so I wouldn’t use them on colours. I’ve a feeling that they may be discontinued.

If it’s the liquid tabs then there’s no bleach in them and are okay for coloured items but they do have optical brighteners in them.
If it’s solid tabs I’d need to know exactly what ones they were to look it up.

You see stuff like that all over the place, caustic soda, lemon juice, vinegar and God only knows what else being used to “fix” things. It’s online so it must be true. :rolls:

It’s not that they’re no longer available and it’s probably the same as one of the other Chinese dishwashers from Haier or Midea etc, it’s that there’s no info on them at all so finding the correct part that would fit is more or less made impossible.
So far as we know, there’s no support for Necht at all as stated here:

Currently, it’s worth looking at an Ilve, I think John Lewis sell them.
The Stoves is okay but the Rangemaster is probably considerably better if it’s a proper Rangemaster and not one of their bought in things.

Sadly not.
You could try just rinsing the compartment repeatedly till water flows out and hope it clears that way, it should work as all it is is a small tank with a solenoid at the bottom effectively.
So water poured in, I’d hope, would displace what’s in there but it may take a while again.

Put some water in it to help break up the salt although, the washes done should have helped that.
Turn the rinse aid up to max if you can adjust it.
It’ll need to run till that clears. It will take a while, many cycles.
Hope for the best.
If not, it’s a new dispenser I’m afraid.

Could be a dry joint issue, dodgy relay or something so if you’re okay with electronic diagnosis and repair it may well be worth a shot, nothing to lose by trying.

Oh poo!
And, the top control board is also obsolete as well!
The main power board that controls it all you can get but, it ain’t cheap, about £140 or so.
I’d suspect the power board, one of the relays or something gone probably. But, it’s a bit of a punt.
