Start with the temp probe. 😉

If that gives false readings it’ll do stuff that makes no sense. Like no heat and non stop heat.

Seems that the Daily Mail is on a mission…

You can just imagine claims that may come out the woodwork.

That’s the water softener.
The brown stuff isn’t grease. It’s resin and, it’s supposed to be there.

Im not familiar with the machine so I’ve not a lot of ideas other than maybe the valve sticking.

KeymasterRe: Panasonic NR B54X1 problem
Could be either a damper, a sensor or possibly something else.
From the looks of what I can find, it’s a twin evap type so it isn’t a diverter valve and the freezer gets the gas first as you’d normally expect so it could also possibly be a compressor issue as, if it were a sensor then you should have gotten an error code up. To be honest, not being on site looking it’s really hard to tell with that one.
There seems to be a valve diverting gas and that may be an issue also but, that’s not a DIY replacement as it’d need recharged if that were changed. It’s shown in the drawing below.

KeymasterRe: Britannia part numbers required
Can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain John but if you mail Dave he can confirm.
Fan element is for sure and this one:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a45834-f … ng-element
Can use:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/fan-oven … ment-11231
May be a bit of faffing to make it fit though.
Switch should be this one I think:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a03411-o … tor-switch
Grill element in the large 60cm ovens are split into inner and outer usually so these two:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/outer-grill-element
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/inner-grill-element
Best thing to do to confirm is get Dave to do it though. 😉

It was me that was being PC due to some people using more fruity terminology in the public forums, usually spammers and it stops them. But, the filters have to apply globally, you can’t restrict them to just certain parts.
Anyways… on with the show…
Picked this up this morning in the news…
http://www.burytimes.co.uk/news/1410700 … ches_fire/
May well just be a one off but, with the dryer thing going on if it gets any momentum it’s not good news for Whirlpool.

“I am having a problem with my dryer, basically I haven,t cleared the condenser & consequently it stopped working as was clogged with fluff. “
Nobody or, as close as makes no odds, clears it after every use!
Even though they have a thing that could go up if they don’t, i’d wager a good many still won’t do it.
Of course, in the owner’s eyes, no doubt that’ll be the manufacturer’s fault. :rolls:
If you were there and it goes wrong or something isn’t right, that’ll be your fault. :rolls:
Never the customer, heaven forbid they’d ever do anything wrong. 😉

Or, you could look for it on the store here and save yourself 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.

No, the fan will continue to run when the element isn’t powered as it will continue to circulate air in the cavity.
If ti’s simply not heating then, fan element is the go-to thing to look for a problem with and it’s this one:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/80689039 … en-element
Fan motor, as mentioned by Bryan is this one:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/699250029-oven-fan-motor
Please understand that when you talk about red and green neons etc what we see is this:
I couldn’t tell you what colour anything was, not a clue, unless the parts list tells me and, it usually won’t.
If the whatever neon is on when the cooker is off, it’s getting a feed from somewhere that it shouldn’t be and that’s normally going to be from the switch or, whatever it’s connected to that it’s giving indication for that’s toasted.

Replacement then.
If you get Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk he’ll sort it out for you.
