Re: Whirlpool Top loader 3RLSQ8033RWO Washing mc-not drainin

Thanks Dave, will keep for future reference.
Meanwhile I found out the old pump had virtualy seized & the` top hat` was still inside the pump.Fortunately the pump female part had worn, not the top hat,so was able to re-use with the new pump.

Thanks Dave. Have just spoke to Maytag. They say this adaptor comes complete with the motor!
Looks like you can`t buy the adaptor seperately?
Will see if I have a second hd motor with a bigger shaft. What a ball ache!

Re: AEG T65270AC dryer Error code

    Ah! Thanks.
Found the condenser to be blocked & consequently the heater toc o/c.
As is often the case the whole heater assembly has to be replaced, retailing at £109!!
I wander if you can purchase these toc`s seperately from somewhere?-todays big question + huge money saver + heater saver!
Will see if the machine responds to treatment next week..

Thanks Simon. With the cost of this part think a new machine is more attractive!

Apparently on these machines if there is a component fault the control board shuts down!
    Pump checks out ok.

Re: Miele W1613 washing machine F53

Thanks.Tested tacho coil 3 volts generated ok.
Motor checked out with mega ok.
All connection looked good.Machine 6 yrs old in good order.
    Tested seemed fine.
Apparently worked ok for 1 wash then F53 again.
As the machine was filling the drum started rotating faster than normal, then F53!
Is it worth replacing the tacho motor end plate or is the pcb suspect?? Perhaps a job for Miele engineer?

Re: Hotpoint BFI 620 dishwasher error code

Reset is normally press & hold start button for a few seconds.Or is there another procedure for these?
The boards are about £85 retail for these.Did the board damage occur because of heater/motor earth fault?

Re: Hotpoint BFI 620 dishwasher error code

Thanks will check that. But surely the machine should start up & drain before valve activates?
Or do these machines just lock up if there is a fault.Reset does nothing!
