The second ~new install dancing across kitchen smeg suggested mod I
refused as you couldnt swing a cat in the kitchen they exchanged I installed yesterday and they were on the phone this morning its the same as her first machine 🙁 ,Did’t somebody mention Bosch using this machine and having a problem ? does anyone from smeg or servast watch the site can they help ?
Because someone needs to

ParticipantRe: City Centre Calls
Also where are all the new style loft apartment developements being put up ? in the nice quiet areas ,and why are they quiet because theres no traffic there due to pedestrianisation etc .We have got a whole new development of approx 50 apartments with Smeg everything going up ,each resident has TWO spaces allocated ,so what happens if mr & mrs are in when an engineer calls ,he’s asked to park down the road . Which then means walking back to the property .

these machines are becoming more popular over here now ,Most parts are available from the regular suppliers .,And Mark’s right don’t undervalue yourself most people re gard these as heavy duty machines and should therefore expect to pay accordingly .
I just wish they made a coin op version as I deal with a lot of coin op situations that don’t want to py mega bucks for the machines in the first place They are not all that much to buy actually http://www.millerbros.co.uk have them at £459.00Lawrence

Its deffo a Merloni we used to see them as servis , The filter and the strange thing on the top spray arm return gives it away.
The motor is mounted by the impellor plate that has either six holes or five holes I would guess by the age its a five ,Part no’s are
five hole/leg mounting with impellor and plate 720054000
six hole/leg 720030300Hope that helps

ParticipantRe: Which Leads Me Onto…
One good thing would be if we could somehow attract more Manufacturers engineers ,I noticed we have a new Comet engineer on board who has already hooked up with another re installations,I drove past our local holiday Inn the other day and what should be in the carpark but 9 Dyson vans obviously a team meeting of some sort ,I kicked myself later I could have put a flyer of some sort on every windscreen ,However I did bump into a Dyson engineer at the post office a couple of days later struck up a conversation and mentioned UKW ,He wasn’t interested until I mentioned anonymity ,He said he was going to have a look obviously I don’t know if he did but bearing in mind the amount of Dyson w/m queries someone like that could be useful.
A couple of ex engineers of mine are now British gas ,And I have just texted them with a simple message and the web address If just one takes alook and likes it maybe the word will spread ,we all have trade contacts maybe we could do a big recruiting campaign through them .Just a few ramblings

ParticipantRe: Part P Or Not To Part P
According to an electrician working at my parents ,Anytime you plug an appliance into a circuit you are responsible for the quality /safety of that circuit ! And you have to certify it accordingly ,I am also trying to get clarification because if that is the case then the world really has gone barmy!

ParticipantRe: Flooding Haier Made Dishwashers
CDA are also trialling them ,Look out for the later model it doesn’t have the stupid hose system but I am informed it does have a turret affair in the sump whereby if the customer places a saucepan over it it drags water in to the base, also the pump spigot are very very fragile you only have to breath on them and they brake ,I have had two exchanges where over zealous installers have managed to break the inlet valve!!
all in all not a good productLawrence
