ParticipantRe: SMEG BUILT UNDER DOUBLE OVEN DOOR ISSUE
Should be part no 931331072 for main oven hinges
And also are all glasses in place as it can make quite a differenceLawrence
ParticipantRe: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers
This is not usual contract work ,So why are they offering contract rates ? Does it really take 40-50 mins or is it more in reality once you clear away all the shoes and dog bed and associated rubbish that people seem to put around dryers.
My take is whilst I’m doing one of these I could lose valuable charge work so the rare would have to be significantly more.
And what about associated faults and recalls, too many risks involved I thinkLawrence
ParticipantRe: Beko DWD5411W

ParticipantRe: Repairtech (UK) Ltd – Is this a joke?
Members are not obliged to accept any work that doesn’t make business sense.
As has been stated in other posts we just provide the details of members who have shown an interest in contract work, its then up to the two parties.
Also just to clarify, the WTA were not consulted prior to the email going out nor were there any discussions via the rates offered.Lawrence
ParticipantRe: Guess who won’t be taking up this exciting offer
There was no consultation with the WTA regards the stunning rate on offer.
They have forgotten that members are not obliged to accept workLawrence

iadom wrote: I left the job and later that afternoon had the office on the radio saying the customer had rung to ask why I hadn’t arrived after she had been contacted by phone to book the call for the morning.
The Radio .. I had to explain what a pager was to our youngest engineer and his girlfriend at our Christmas meal ,he has only ever known sat nav and a mobile.

ParticipantRe: oven taking 20 minutes to reach temp
it depends on what you want ,when you say to reach temp do you mean on fan before the red light goes off ? Depending on the condition of the door seal and the tension of the door springs and also the ambient room temperature the time can vary considerably,
If the door seal is attached at all 4 corners and has no tears I would be looking at the hinges with regards to heat lossLawrence
ParticipantRe: Database
We are using it for 3 engineers and 2 subs and are finding it to be very good,Sudeep will also modify fields for you as required.
And it is indeed free ,no hidden extras..Lawrence
