ParticipantRe: CRB checks
The CRB is only good if you have been caught.
One day they will wake up to the fact it does not guarantee safety for children. :rolls:

You can dismantle the motor and take out the brushes and match up to others around, there is a Bosch set that fit but I cannot remember the part or model No.

Go back with a 3 inch blade and shove it through the letter box.

ParticipantRe: Repair quote of the month.
Companies earn money from the freephone numbers and several others.
0871 numbers earn around 7p a minute.
Being left on hold to complain is a great earner if your a major player sell rubbish to idiots.
You should get one, all added income.

ParticipantRe: Baumatic.BWR1206 Who makes it?
All made in China.
Ariston buys there as well as all the others.
I love them, the more that break the more I earn.

ParticipantRe: 0800 Repair
Maybe some of us have been in business long enough to spot a franchise that benefits the seller more than the buyer and have a long history with JTM, most of it negative.
I would advise against it, but you can only help some people.
I would suggest Alan that if want your comments to be taken as truth you should write in other sections of the site on various topics and reduce the sales talk you write here. :rolls:

Its a Haier. At least that is what is written on Baumatics Technical documents for this model.
Worked on a few this week, no major issue and seems a nice appliance.
Very easy Engineer self check system, completes in a round 4 minutes.
As this site explains Haier here.

Its the world 2nd largest home appliance brand.

I did, I pulled the info from Dyno rod web site. :rolls:
Read it here.

Since JTM and 0800 are one and the same only a fool would believe there business ethic would differ.

ParticipantRe: Bosch ETL6103GB/01 Not heating
They give results from 0-35 degress, I couldn’t be bothered writting all of them and the current climate 10 degrees more likely than 25.

ParticipantRe: 0800 Repair
Dyno rod still look stupid, started in 1964, ran into financial difficulties, expanding into other areas, lost lots of cash and got bought by Centrica in 2004.
Not a great example for the franchise holders, great product though, just nobody cared and they overcharged.
So get ready for the British Gas experience. 😉 😆

I can spot bull s888 a mile away and this is pretty close.
Maybe he needs something interesting to write about, most of his blog is well embarrasing for somebody so experienced.
Sorry but I’ve reached the grumpy old basta***d age and can’t hold back any longer.

Could not remember how to get fascia off – only seen one other like it before. And what’s that at 5 o’ clock pos’n under porthole opening – visible with side panel removed? Could that be the problem?
Any help gratefully received.
Mike.That is another NTC.
At 10 degrees it should have a resistance of 19.9 K ohmns, rear NTC at 10 degrees should be 40.4 K ohmns.
You need also to check that the drum is correct resistence, as the appliance will not heat if it believes the items are dry.
Run the test programme will test drum resistance and heating system.

ParticipantRe: FLOOR DISCLAIMER
Kitchen fitters I have come across are not exactly bright.
I had a cooker hood yesterday, could not see the securing screws at the top of the chimney, as they where obscured by the coving around the ceiling.
After I explained to client she rung the fitter.
He explained to me that the bracket that screws to wall was placed on the ceiling, the bottom section needs to be removed and an arm with a long screw driver needs to be sent through the 2 inch gap up to the ceiling.
He stated it was a pig to install.
I stated it’ll be a pig for you too remove then and the client will need to pay us a callout charge for the wasted visit as the installation instructions were not followed and impossible to remove appliance covers to access the motor securing screws.
He argued that the design was crap as most ceilings have a coving, to which I explained most competent fitters would have placed the bracket on the wall lower than the coving and drilled two holes through the chimney allowing the screws to secure to the bracket and allow a quick and painless removal. :rolls:
Now I’m afraid the removal and reinstallation is your responsibility and I suggest you reinstall properly.
Client has paid us and is looking to claim from him the charge and we are returning next week. 😆

ParticipantRe: Hoover VHV680F all indicator lights flashing
Room temp in the UK is +18 degrees, anything cooler the human body requires more heat for comfort.
The UK is a cool climate, but our homes are designed to keep us warm, therefore since Tumble dryers are Domestic appliances there designed to be placed in a home.
The garage is designed for cars, nothing else, you would not park your car in your kitchen, so you cannot expect your Appliance to be happy in your garage. :rolls:
now if you decide to think outside the box or more likely, to poor to buy a bigger home, placing them outside of normal is your responsibility.
