    A little tip that sorted one of these that kept braking up the front felt added some baby powder to front felt , also used chalk powder that was 15 years old from the good old hoover tumble dryer days .

    it has to be the belt had a couple of bekos with the same fault , belt changed noise gone 🙂

    water tank on the left hand side looking from the front is clogged up . side panel off you will see at the top left of the tank will be gunged up , were there is an air brake , take it off and rinse through with hot water and bleach
    give a good shake helps .

    relay goosed connects part number 5045170933371 they are repairable
    thow its usually the 1uf or 1.5uf capacitor that needs changing 🙂

    EDIT its a .68 uf (sorry heavey weekend )

    its usually the black connecter on the pcb near the relay that gives trouble
    just crimp it up 🙂

    cm rangew error 5 is Faulty NTC Temperature Probe and/or Defective Core
    Board and/or Wiring. Ohmic Values of NTC are: 20
    Kohm at 25°C – 2.14 Kohm at 85°C.

    internal fuse has gone ? did one last week sticky door micro switch was the cause , hth

    These hoover candy machines have been exploding for years but they
    wont admit it .. how do i no well i used to by all the raw from hoover saw
    alot just like it , i have pics some were see iff i can dig them out , as whiskey_six said it the seam that gives away every time ……

    heres my very own sisters hoover six that went with a bang lol
