Strange allright, the wire was tied into the loom and would not reach the motor, I cannot believe they would use an “neutral” as an earth though 😕

You are right Boro I was getting my models mixed up 😳 I was thinking about the series with the plastic base 😉

As a matter of interest, what’s the going rate for doing one of the heater boxs? If you consider the time removing the machine when it’s built in etc. standing on your head in a small kitchen and the good hour to do it 😥

Good old fashioned debor. make sure it is lined up with the hole first, if not turn the seal until it is. plenty of debor on it, push the whole lot inside the tub and carefully pull out the outer lip hopefully leaving the inner lip inside the tub, hopefully some debor will remain on the pipe while you can spend the rest of the day picking most of the rest of it off your fingers.
I see, plenty of “hopefulls”, thats about right 😉You would have thought they would have designed a “protrusion on the drum so as the hose could be clamped over it , or even designed the door seal better and done away with a drain. Some sicko in the design office (early learning school) is laughing their nuts off at the Brits expence. 😥

Ooooooogh that drain hose looks a bit perished Jim 😉 😉 not a sign of rot on that back panel. If all the customers looked after machines as well as these, we would all be out of business 10 out of 10 8)

Obviously expected you to pay her £35 for the privilege goatboy 😉
Reminds me of the last vac I received, chap brought it out to the workshop and left it. I rang him up 10 minutes later suggesting that he came back for it before I chucked it out onto the road 👿
When I opened it up it was full of dried vomit!!! and stunk to high heaven, as I said the last vac I repaired, several years ago. OK I lost a customer but who needs one like that. ❓ I think your £35 was reasonable and you probably don’t need a customer like that 😉
