    Dave,

First of all try ‘resetting’ the machine (with the machine switched on and running, press the 2nd and 4th buttons simulataniously for 2 seconds then release) That should set the pump to drain for 60 seconds then it will switch off 😉

Now try it again, see what happens 🙄

If you want more detailed information as to who has registered a domain name then go check out the UK Internet Names Authority on their site:

Also another good site for registration is :

    Simon,

Have you taken a look at the main power board on the Control Unit? Usually the heater relay terminals burn away from the PCB and need stronger solder and link wire job to fix 😉

The tester to ensure the unit is servicable before attempting a patch-up job is to try the ‘Reset Procedure’. If the control unit fails to reset then its a bin-it and fit a new unit (Part No: 263607).

However IF the unit does reset and you resolder the dodgy relay, then simply fit a new outer casing to fix the broken switch actuators (Part No: 264946) and job done

    Hope that helps?

It is clear that the A.S.A are taking great interest these days into what businesses claim in their advertising. And I reckon anyone advertising such things as NO CALL OUT should watch out! :lesson:

The general public has even easier access these days as they can complain directly to them on their web site :-

P.S Thanks Ken for making hard copy of the aforementioned adjudication (legal terminology and all that 😆 )

Good heavens no! Jubilee clips are expensive and manufacturers take the cheap option these days. ‘Cable Ties’ and other plastic clips is their choice and when something can be held together with a plastic lug or latch instead of the metal screw, even better 😯

Ask yourself….. “Why are many washing machines so cheap to buy these days?”……..answer = plastic, polycarbonates and even polystyrene !!

Load of ‘chancers’ about like those Flipper, offering their services. 🙁 They often buy domain names and flog them to those companies that could take on such name for stupid money.

Ignore is good advice indeed 🙂

    Re: Credit Card Processing?

Lloyds TSB and their ‘Cardnet’ card processing want £695 for a Matsu unit and £7 per month SIM card rental on the Orange network 🙁

I’ll stick to putting the paper vouchers through my ‘card cruncher’ and phoning for authorisation, thanks very much 👿

Active regular input is all too important within WR of course, otherwise there’s little point in being here. Long absences and lack of input would naturally generate suspicion within the rest of the group.

As one of ‘the new boys’ I defer further comment to others better qualified to judge. However I must add that myself and Chris being sole traders will find many subjects discussed here being beyond our scope and judgement and therefore our participation limited somewhat.

On the other hand I believe we operate in the trade from another angle and that often needs full and frank discussion that might otherwise be overlooked. 😀

Re: Siemens SIWAMAT 2105 not draining!?

Sounds like a Siwamat 21050 (a.k.a. WM21050GB/16). and most likely is that the sump/ball valve is blocked. Not a DIY job I’m afraid and you need to call in us experts 😉

With the pump/filter cover removed, set the machine onto ‘Spin’ and you should see the pump working? If not then thats the problem and again you need to call in the experts. Try putting your Postcode in the ‘Directories’ section here for just such a person to assist 8)

    Re: Indesit WG1130T Leaking

    Jamie,

It is an elderly machine that could leak anywhere really. Further investigation is required. Not something we could put our finger on simply by your description, sorry 🙁

Likely problems are Door Seal punctured and split, internal hoses perished, drain pipe overflowing etc etc etc. Do take a closer look but remember to PULL THE PLUG FIRST!!!
