Oh Blimey! Thinking Module at this early stage may be a bit extreme without first trying the more likely 😉

As Dave suggests “Main On/Off Double pole switch???” (Remember Neff/Bosch do tend to have their circuits switched on the Neutral side?)

Also the favourite likely problem and the one that gets most abuse by users……The Door Interlock!!! (Part No 154077)…..Check that out also.

I think on that beast there is a ‘Delay Timer’ ??? not sure now but that could have been set accidentally????Dunno otherwise. 😕 😕

Not sure if QER could test the Module either, probably not 🙁

    Oh Dear! 🙁

The motor connector block is the first thing that will get saturated if you haven’t secured the Backplate Clamp Ring properly I’m afraid. 😥

Certainly it is best to disconnect the two parts of the motor plug, give them a good blasting from a hand-held hairdryer. Then check the terminals closely before reconnecting.

WD40 sprayed liberally also not a bad thing but in this case …after you have dried it with the hairdryer 😉

The bad news may well be that because of this you have possibly blown the main control module (around terminals marked ‘CNE’) 😥 😥

    Fingers crossed eh 🙂

First thing to try is ‘Resetting’ the control panel. See your user instructions 😉

    Chris,

First off, learn to spell??? WEMBLEY…!!!! 😆 😆

No problem with local car parking at Wembley Area. My advice is get there early and park near the exit gate of the car park. Then go and have nosh at one of the many local restuarants 😉

Re: Hoover WDM130 fills then stops

It is likely the motor is the problem. After all it is the device that does all the work 😉

Possibly at best the brushes have packed in ❓ At worst = New Motor 🙁

    Joe,

Yes the Bottom Door Seal Kit has changed and in order to fit it you need to take off both side panels. Release the door spring/cords etc in order to locate the new type fitting.

(I do recall the new Seal Kit is actually longer than the old type not shorter as your guy Jonesie describes though 😕 )

    Sparky,

Dave has hit the nail on the head here. 😆 In fact the problem is indeed that main Thermostat Part No: 1258406014 (Located inside the drum behind a plastic cover held with a couple of philips screws actually 😉 )

Stick in a new stat and educate your customer about the importance of the ‘Cool Down’ part of cycle 😉

    Gary,

It’s the same old story we have heard, time and time again with these machines I’m afraid.

Better put it down to experience and buy something a bit more pricey, It is worth looking at German brands methinks. You only get what you pay for after all 😉

Ahhh!… that makes sense ‘cos they do a hell of a lot of Bosch stuff and that figures why UK wholesalers are buying from them rather than Bosch/Siemens 😉
