More than likely it is a motor problem or connections between the motor and module (to connector block “CNE” on Module)

Unplug machine completely from the mains before attempting any inspections!

The larger B&Q Stores stock heavy duty aluminium cupboard lining. Sold in sheets and can be cut to fit. Perfect as a reflective shield in wooded (MDF) oven cabinets!

Ask in their Fitted Kitchen Department 😉

    Swede,

Drain Valve???? Do you mean that the water is constantly flowing out as soon as it comes in I wonder?

I suggest if that is the case to make sure the outlet for the machine is above the water level. To prevent syphoning as it were. Usual rule is at least 50cms above floor level 😉

If by Drain Valve you mean Water Inlet Valve keeps filling, then you need a new inlet valve 😉

    Hope that helps?

    Re: Citroen Relay

I have been driving Citroen vehicles (cars that is – Drive a Vauxhall Astra Van) now for almost 20 years. Currently have a Citroen C5 which is fine. BUT I did have problems with it a short while back and happened across the local service Manager for Reg Vardy Citroen. At the time I was in his house fixing his tumble dryer, and happened to enquire what he did for a living etc etc.

I then told him of my slight problem with the car and he admitted that at present Citroen UK were in dire straights over servicing due to the lack of spare parts. Spare parts supply from France to the UK is the main problem and they have been experiencing this situation for months and months.

Later he said it would be probably as long as 5 weeks in getting the part for my motor (that was in March) and the part arrived 3 weeks ago, so it actually took 13 weeks.

So, Citroen vehicles?…………..there fine, but buy 2 so you have a spare one when the other is laid up! 😆

    Foxy,

Do be careful not to ‘over suds’ the machine. Bosch machines don’t like too much detergent using as they foam like crazy and its hard to rinse away. Especially using ‘Quick Wash’ which is best avoided when you’re washing towels etc that need lots of rinses anyway.

Check the pump also (see instruction booklet for access info) as you may have a button rattling about inside it? 🙂 Make the usual checks then try it again. If its still noisy, give Bosch a bell as its under guarantee 😉

The cover is located in the sump, remove the fine & coarse filters and the screw is located at the “7” oclock position ( not ten ).

Just been reading this thread again and thought I would pick up one very small point here. I have not as yet come across many SRS series dishwashers, but the ones I have seen DO NOT have access to the drain pump from inside the tub 🙁 No little plate held with a Torx screw like the SGS series has 😕

    CJ,

I refer you back to my previous comment:

Martin wrote:‘Independants’ (such as the majority of us on this site are after all) do represent the backbone of the entire field service industry. And I can assure you the ‘publics attitude’ to us is one of complete gratitude and support, in deference to manufacturers own service.

Many manufacturers are now coming to us ‘Independants’ to take over their ailing, mal-administered service networks. A certain ‘Italian sponsored’ British company is currently advertising nationwide trying to bolster its declining workforce by offering dodgy franchise contracts to independants. Just who is the ‘sheep’ and the ‘wolf’ here I wonder?

I’m pleased you managed to establish a repairer. Indeed we have dealings with QER Ltd, they are generally a Trade Only repairer but have been known to help out anyone in need 😉

    Easy CJ,

Lets get this thing into perspective here for a moment please. 🙂

‘Independants’ (such as the majority of us on this site are after all) do represent the backbone of the entire field service industry. And I can assure you the ‘publics attitude’ to us is one of complete gratitude and support, in deference to manufacturers own service. 😉

In the UK National Census 2001 it was established that almost 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the entire UK population live within a 30 mile radius of WOLVERHAMPTON (Postcode Area : WV)

No-one is listed on UKW to cover this vast area though 🙁
