No no, weeks to come if you haven’t located the front bearing plate fully home 😥

Easy, go to our “Help Desk” here on the left and fill in the ‘online’ questionaire. Remember you need to order a Bosch Part Number 066321 you want and they come in pairs (2 in a pack)

    Seamy,

I am sure I replied to you about this recently 😕

Oh, maybe it was when The Big Crash happened????

Anyway, you will notice the fascia is held in place with 3 ‘lug & clip’ fixings. Simply place a screwdriver into the lug and with a knifeblade between the panel and the metal top, ease the fascia forward slightly (No need for any force now!) Do the same for the other 2 clips on the top.

The bottom part of the fascia is held with 3 plastic latches that need gently easing upward to disengage. The entire fascia should come away to access the switch etc etc. Refitting is simply a case of carefully aligning the timer drive shaft in position before pushing the fascia back.

    Easy !! 😉

P.S Print this off before UKW crashes again 😉 😉 😉

Thanks Dave, but she is getting a new machine as the rest of it is falling apart anyway.

Re: Another Indesit timer clicking round

I went to an ancient Indesit L6S yesterday with an even more ancient owner. “What’s up with it love?” say’s I. “I sets it on my usual wash and it just clicks on passed it and turns off in 5 minutes!”

In fact the Sub-Interval Cam had jammed so the Timer is shot! (Obsolete)

Nothing changes even with the new ones so clearly what goes around comes around eh 😉

    Penguin,

Thanks for that, so possibly on that note if I stick in the repaired module it could be back in ‘servis’ then 😆

Perhaps I will let the customer switch it on first though eh, so I can blame here again (Programme logic an all that 😉 ) if it blows 😯

Priceless help so far guys thanks 😆 , a bit negative perhaps but reassuringly I think something positive may come up to make a circuit that doesn’t blow the minute you (sorry I) switch one 😆 😆

    Nearly 90 pence a litre

I topped up today (diesel) at 82.9 per litre ‘cos tomorrow they will indeed be ramping it up! 90p you reckon?….Christ!!!!! 😯

Based on my experiences of a couple of years ago during the fuel protests, it is best to keep your motor fully topped up. If you run diesels then pop into Halfords and buy a few gerry (jerry ? not sure) cans and stash a few litres away for those many rainy days to come.

Panic buy ? BLOODY RIGHT MATE 😉 😉

streetlighter wrote:How do you guys do it.

You cannot ignore your competition of course but like Dave says, don’t do either.

In my case I prefer to call it and advertise it as a ‘Fixed Rate’ charge. Specifically £35 + VAT for local calls that ‘includes’ the first half hour on site, thereafter £7.50 each additional 15 mins + VAT. My fixed rate increases with the radial distance from base thereafter up to a maximum of £50 + VAT for calls up to 25 miles away (though I am seriously thinking of not going beyond 20miles due to spiralling fuel costs and longer travelling times)

We all know what a ‘No Call Out/ Free Estimates’ leads to (so too do Trading Standards – they prefer to register those that show fixed rates incidentally) with these ‘Cowboys’….foot in the door, check out its worth, rip ’em off and away!

    Your choice really 🙄

Its nice that these ‘clever’ people mess around in their own homes only harming the wifes washing machines. ‘Cos I dread to think the damage they would cause out on the streets 😛
