No salt being used means that the salt regeneration valve is not working. A new one cost under 20quid.(part no: 00166875)

If you were to disconnect one microswitch lead from the switch (and safely insulate it) then turn on the dishwasher with the door open, then it shouldn’t work. Therefore proving the fault lies with the latch.

    Can you try that?

The door lock unit will need inspecting. Either the unit itself wants replacing or the latch striker adjusting. Or, the door microswitch faulty. And a final possibility is that the machine stands on an uneven surface where the door doesn’t truly line up with the cabinet hence not allowing the latch mechanism to engage properly.

That should cover ALL possibilities 😉

Gas needs a Gas Safe registered installer to fit. If it fails then a ‘manufacturer approved Gas Safe repairer’ has to be located to fix it…..nightmare to avoid I’d say.

    Both look good…

Sweet cheeses! Bl@@dy expensive too. I wouldn’t waste my hard earned on them. As for an impact driver? Not needed in this trade IMO.

The front sensor is probably the issue here and needs replacing (part no: 00613753) A local independent repair guy could fit it for you.

A basic Beko or White Knight VENTED dryer would be my choice. Avoid Hotpoint and Indesit rubbish and don’t even think of a gas dryer. 😉

…..and now the dust has settled* on the spammer, recent regulations begs the question ‘what are Sebo going to bring out to keep within those regs?’

Hotpoint WDUD, what an interesting model reference. Is that a clue as to their reliability?

Your post can best be regarded as SPAM. It’s USA related, is obsolete as far as UK readers are concerned as we have regulations in place to ensure vac motors do not exceed 900 watts. PLUS all the links go to Amazon.com in the US

It’s the ‘gate’ that slots into the soap drawer of your washing machine, on top of a leather sofa from Furniture Village I would think. 🙂
