ParticipantStart with the obvious and check all connections between motor and board, might also be worth checking bearings etc if the drum is catching or rubbing will take more oopmh to get it going.

ParticipantAh that version doesn’t use a capacitor.

ParticipantIf the clothes are warm but wet then probably a blocked condenser, could also be a problem with the pump, if it can’t get rid of the water in the resovoir it shuts the heater down.

ParticipantDiagram shows it next to the motor. Can you share a photo of the motor area?

ParticipantDecided to get one of the expander tools, used it twice today so far and makes it way easier.

ParticipantThank you.

Any chance you could fire this over to me too please, got one to go to and be nice to be able to narrow it down to either board or motor.

ParticipantI’ve got one of those Dave, it’s OK for front springs or where the front comes off the washer.
Thinking of getting one of these, Maddocks do them to if you have an account, which I don’t.

ParticipantJust reading this, and within minutes got a phone call from a customer saying they’ve fitted their own seal but cant get the inner spring on, guess where i’m going tomorrow!
matrixresonator
ParticipantSounds like the start capacitor (located near the motor)

ParticipantThe 200/300 could be the temperature where it cuts out.

ParticipantOne heater with multiple coils, on low heat it only powers up half the heater.

ParticipantBeen back, this time it when testing it failed on the main wash valve so replaced that and has now completed cycles, guess they misread the code on the display.
matrixresonator
ParticipantSaw that, got one to strip down tomorrow to see if it’s the right motor.
matrixresonator
ParticipantThat’s the way I’m thinking it’s going to be, fortunately I get a few sharks with faulty motors then customers leave with me for parts so I salvage the flex out of them, doubt will be the same with Ninjas.
