If you look at the left hand colums the top one of second column down says “brand”
Use this to search the make/model number, then it will show parts available for that specific model and you will see a tab marked “mediator” tnis shows exploded diagrams etc….not available for everything, but very handy all the same,,

It usually means a new motor, brushes not readily available…just make sure its not the brushroll thats making the noise,or if fitted, the clutch.. But 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time its the motor…

Re: INDESIT IDE 1005 DISHWASHER A08 FAULT CODE

It could be that the heater thermistor has come loose, and it isn’t correctly reading the temperature of the water,so the water should be very very hot..

To get at the thermistor you will need to unplug the machine from the mains, you then need to open the door and remove the screws from each side of the inner door skin, carefully remove the outer door panel (beware it can have sharp edges) and you will see the thermistor connected by two wires and it normally is held in place by a small clip this should be in close contact with the inner door skin to work correctly..

The code A08 relates to a heater circuit problem..is the machine heating the water?

It’s just a query a customer had,as he had WM50 & a WM56. 1000 & 1200 spin respectively..he said they seem to have identical boards and motors yet diff spin speeds..just got me thinking!

    Re: Hotpoint aquarius + (WMF760) – f11 fault

The brushes are located in the rear of the motor, usually held in with 2 screws either side of the plastic housing.. If they are around a half inch or less then they need repalacing..
