Are you sure the tacho magnet is tight,if you can turn this by hand,it can cause erratic spin and wash speeds !

Re: Bosch Classixx SGS43C12GB NOT FILLING

Id go with jims reply first, check you dont have any leaks..
Also try turning the water supply off at the tap, if the pump eventually stops, then try it again with the tap on. If it then takes water in, then you probably have a leak somewhere which is activating the pump..

Re: Hotpoint wma40 washing machine not going beyond final sp

When you say stops after final spin, can you then open the door as normal?

If not it could be a blockage in the pressure vessel, and if the brushes in the motor have never been renewed, then its worth checking those out as well

    Re: zanussi ZWD122070W

    Hi steve

Error code ED4 relates to either a problem with the dryer circuit board , or the dryer element..
Before you proceed further make sure you remove all power to the machine by unplugging.

You can then remove the top, and you will see the dryer unit that contains the heater mounted jn a metal unit.. You will see the element connections sticking out from the rear of this unit, you need to remove these wires only! Make a note of what colour goes to what connections (easist way is to take a photo withyour mobile phone cam.

Then insulate the wires with tape, and try the machine again… If it works then you need to repalce the heaters..if t doesent it usually points to the dryer PCB or associated wiring..

Check the bottom of the door seal, pull out the folds and you may find a hole there

    Re: Candy CC217-80 scraping noise

The scraping noise you refer to is more than likely the rear bearing..

    Power off before proceeding!

If you look at the rear of the machine inline with the centre if the drum, there should be a cover over the bearing assembly, remove this and check for any signs of a black dust, and check the position of the shaft.

You will probably find that the shadt has worn its way through the bearing and is now resting on the metal bearing housing, or worse still the machine casing…not to difficult a job to replace…
