Check the metal part of the pump,if this is very hot to the touch, then this could be your problem…had a similar problem with one recently

Been having a rethink on this one today, now thinking the valves are not getting the full mains voltage, and are maybe not opening fully? Not sure what you mean when you say works fine when connected to another machine!

Hi Paul
I think from memory this is related to a blockage in the small grey pipe that runs down from the soap box, just heard the voicemail you left me,but am on my way to a funeral this morning so won’t have time to ring you…
But check all breather pipes first and see if that helps.

ParticipantRe: White Night CL43 – fixable or time for a change?
The motor start capacitor will, need changing to get the drum spinning as it should, as for the no heat fault this was caused because the heater has had no air to cool it down due to the motor fault, so if it has a reset button at the back, then that should push in to reset it…
Not certain about this model having a reset, so hopefully someone else can help, you furtherMartin

ParticipantRe: BOSCH WASHED MACHINE e 23
The E23 code means that a leak to the base of machine has been detected..
You need to check underneath the machine after removing the bottom cover..
There is a float device attached to this base so be careful when removing as the wires are notmthat long…
Youncan then pull off the commector and investigte where the leak is coming from….But it could be just a case of water leaking in tomthe base if you have recently cleaned out the fluff filter.. Try putting some towels infront of the machine and tilting forward to let any remaining water run out of the front and on to the towels…
If it then happens againyou have a leak that needs sorting..Hope this helps

Take a look underneath the machine. You may find the hose from the bottom of the tub, leading to the pump has come away whilst transporting the machine, also look at the rubber door seal as well,if these are ok,then look at the bottom area of the door seal after opening the door, make sure you pull out the folded areas and look there…

A small amount of clicking with new brushes is normal, until they bed themselves in, but it sounds as thought you may have not fitted them correctly maybe?
I would take the motor out and check that the whole surface of the brush is in contact with the armature, and not just the tip of them..
And also that the brushes when installed correctly are pushed in to the holder, ther mistny be any resistance, as this may cause the symtoms you describe, as in one brush may have just lost contact with the armature due to it not being free to move agains the spring pressure..
Is the machine showing any error codes or flashing lights?Martin
