Re: LG machine makes noise like popcorn popping

Is this the machine with a dual pump, one if which feeds water to the top of the door seal? If so then it could be something lodged inside there?

Sounds like a pressure switch problem, try replacing the tubing,or reversing it after checking its not leaking air…if that doesn’t cure it a new switch is required

Re: bissell floor and more belt

The floors and more models suffered with motor problems, i had 2 of them left over from shop stock and sold one to a friend, while i kept the other one myself…
Both had motor problems within months, as it was under guarantee Bissel arranged for both to be collected and replaced with new machines…so far they have been fine…but to give you an idea of the quality of the original motors they were fitted with..they were less than £5 inc VAT.

Motor brushes are probably in need of replacing,or the belt could be stretched or has even come off…

Could also be a worn catch on the door itself!

If the pump is working and you ate sure tje water outlet hose is clear, then i would check your waste outlet pipe under sink for a blockage…

Would also now advise you to replace the shocks,as these are to blame for your original oroblem ( machine overloaded on worn shocks caused the drum pulley to hit the outer casing !

On second thoughts, chrck the fuse again,if its blown again then the relay was faulty,if its intact, then its just the brushes are worn

    Hi
If the fuse needed replacing, then then relay also needs replacing, other than that you need to check the motor brushes
