Check the carbon blocks on top of the drum, they may be worn?

Seal fitting pretty easy, front panel off, inside is similar layout to bosch machines with weights going around front of the tub, seal easily fitted with weights in place.
Had a one piece spring fitting for inner part, & a steel spring tensioned band on outer part…job done in 15-20 mins…

Seal was £30.08 with vat & P&P included

    Re: Dyson DC04 seals

The holes which the rubber seals are on, one if them provides the suction from the motor which then locates via the seal to the bin,so just pit your hand over one at a time you will soon know which is the suction..as it will suck your hand on to it!

    Re: Dyson DC04 seals

With the bin removed, pit your hand over the top rubber seal and feel if there is good suction there, if you hear the air release valve operate then its definately a blocked cyclone uni. ( air valve is located above you rubber seal in pic no 1. Its basically a spring loaded valve that releases when there is a blockage…

    Re: Tips, Tricks & Shortcuts

    Probably been mentioned before but!
Had a machine today with a broken top spring, which had been left unrepaired for many weeks, causing drum seal to twist out of shape even when new spring was fitted..
Solution was to remove seal and put in tumble dryer for 5 mins..came out as good as new.
Probably could be done in situ using a hairdryer

    Re: Dyson DC04 seals

Take the seals off and give them a wash in warm soapy water, then replace, also check that the removable blockage filter on the right hand side of machine near the bottom sits properly when the handle is pulled back.
Loss of suction on these is usually down the that part popping out sligtly…
If after all these checks it still lacks suction.
I suggest submerging the bin in a bath or suitable container and shaking vigourously.,, then flush out till water is clear, and leave to air dry for at least 24 hours before re fitting…
    Hope this helps

Re: Miele W840 pumps out & water in at the same time

    Hi Paul

Sounds like a problem with maybe pressure switch or the pressure vessel to me then..
Also check the vent pipe that runs from bottom of soap drawer. This is known to get blocked and cause random faults like this..
    Hope this helps

Re: Test cycle whirlpool dishwasher Modle ADG7560/S

    This may work!
Hold the start button till it beeps
Then select the first cycle on the left which should be the rinse cycle
    Then turn the dishwasher off
Then press and hold the start button and with this held in turn the dishwasher on.
Once the start light is flashing let go
Now press the start button once and close the door.
    .
Now it will run a 12 minute test cycle.
