    Re: Indesit WIXE 127

    Update

Went to see this machine. Had f05 fault showing. Checked usual culprits.. Then lastly I checked the under sink connector from the machine.. There was a 1p coin wedged perfectly inside stopping all flow off water!

Strange thing is that the coin could not have come from the machine as the diameter of connector was slightly to small…. And doubt it could have been forced up from the other side of connector as the sink waste outlet has very small holes .. So the coin could not have come from the sink

So,still baffling , but one to watch out for

Won’t be goin to see it for a week or so, so am unable to get dimensions of element..
He now says it trips as soon as its switched on! So maybe it’s the mains suppressor at fault?

    Re: Indesit G74c tumble dryer

Not familiar with the location of it on this model, but it’s usually located on the motor itself ( a white cylindrical plastic item ) usually has 2 or 4 wires attached.. If you are replacing yourself. Make sure the dryer is unplugged before you do anything .. And make a detailed note of the wiring

hopefully another trade member can supply you with the correct part

My own WDD960 just gone the same way, last time it went,it was down to a loose main PCB connector…

Although this time it won’t do the spin on any programme…
Any ideas greatly appreciated… Tho I think it’s time for a new board from EMW

    Any vacuum cleaner experts???

    Hi tony

It’s usually just the small foot switch release that breaks on these, although I have had a few where the motor retaining bands have snapped away from the chassis base… If you find the handle moves from side to side more than is normal… It’s BER!

    Hope this helps

Oven facia lettering being removed easily

Why don’t the makers, just sandwich the lettering Inside the glass/ plastic fascias
Then in theory it should last the lifetime of the appliance….

Though I guess there are some that already do ?
