If you try a search on that fault, there is some previous threads around on here for that fault.
Generally its caused by a blocked pressure system and transfer hose between pressure system and sump.

    Hi!
As Jim says, model number would help and slimline is slightly different.
Assuming its a full size one, heres a rough guide to the way i’d tackle it.
Remove the lid by releasing the plastic tabs at the back and slide it backwards.
Remove both side panels by undoing the T20 torx screws either side.
Remove the door panel and then plinth and the steel panel behind it.
Release the tensioners of the door by unhooking them from the hinges.
Remove the retaining blocks from the hinge bearings and lift the whole door off, taking care with all the wiring (Remove it if you preffer)
At this point I would take the opertunity to extract all traces off water from the sump and take some out from the softner too, I find a big syringe usefull for this.
Undo the salt pot nut and remove the 2 plastic clips held to the sump by torx. Also undo the torx holding the upper basket spray arm channel to the sump.
On the left an right hand side are a torx holding the hinges to the tank, undo these.
Looking at the back of the machine are 2 more torx holding the tank to the base remove them.
Take 2 flat blade screwdriveres and place (Not Force) them between the tank and hinge, left and right, this allows them to be splayed sufficiantly to lift the entire tank away from the base, be warned the tank is like a razor! Gloves, old dustsheets advisable if in customers house.
The tank maybe reluctantant to let go of the sump seal so a jiggle of said componants maybe needed!!
You will then see the guts of it all and can remove the sump complete with motor, heater, pump etc once all wires have been disconnected.
You will have to cut the crimped hose clamp between the heater/impellor housing but a new one should be supplied with the new instantanious water heater along with stat and microswitch, diverter and turbidity sensor if fitted.
There might be a few gaps here but hope it helps 😉

Re: happy new year and help my beer fridge packed up

Is it out in the garage/outbuilding??
If so it may be down to ambient tempreture.
This happens when the outside temp falls bellow +10’c and plays havoc with the thermostat, so if this is the case, puttin a new stat in wouldn’t improve it.
As for parts, would’t have a clue!

Re: Zanussi FLS1186w advancing straight through wash

We were just coming back from our new year party! Seemed like an ideal time of day to do a bit in the workshop, must of been the Stella influence! 😆
I think I have solved it now, it has a quick wash button that had shorted out, replaced that and all SEEMS ok now but a few load tests should define that. It seems to make sense.
Thankyou for the help and advice, its always greatly recieved. 😉

    Re: Bosch to/from China

Well its all to do with the secret society you see……………… 😆
KGN is the start of a model number or Enr number for a fridge freezer, for example KGN34V00GB/01.
As a general rule, Bosch refrigeration products start like this.
    KGV-Non frost free fridge freezer.
    KGU-Frost free fridge freezer
    KTR-Fridge
KGN-Frost free fridge freezer (latest type with blown air system in fridge)
And Bosch washing machines, for example WFF2001GB/01
WVF is a model of washer dryer being produced in china, and they ain’t bad at all!!
WFM, WFF, WFP, WFK, WFR, WFL, WFD, WFB, WFO, WAE and so on…….
Bosch cookers tend to start HBN.
Siemens products start with two letters then numbers
A dishwasher for example may start SE25…… or a cooking appliance HB….
And finally for Neff, they start with one letter then the model, for example U1661S0GB may be used for a cooker or V for a washer, K for a refrigeration appliance or H for a microwave.
There are loads of exceptions and contradictions to these rules and sometimes it as clear as mud but its only a very rough guide.
Perhaps we could start a thread on it for people? I’m sure some of the other BSH (Bosch Siemens Homeappliances) lads would add to it 😉

    Re: Driving standards!

    Very true!
I’d like to think, with the miles we cover as service engineers, we are professional drivers.
The weather here last few days has been terrible and so has the standard of driving skills shown by others 😥
The local radio station keeps on reminding drivers to put their lights on, how braindead are these drivers?
It is true about the driving instructors not teaching people to use gears, for example, my mates girlfriend passed her test not long ago and took to the road. She hit her first patch of black ice and slammed on the brakes, with a car now sliding at speed into oncoming traffic she pulls on the handbrake!! 😡
It took quite a while for the recovery truck to get her car off the top of the roundabout.
She was then sent on a Driver Improvement Course.
Notice how the initials of this DIC almost spells DICK 😆
