    Re: Facebook advertising…

Had to put a machine right after another local engineer had taken a customers motor off for testing and not returned it for 2 weeks.

When I checked it the motor just needed carbons and away it went.

Anyway she got started going on about how she was going to tear him apart on facebook and make sure everyone she knew would know how EVIL 👿 a man he was!

So maybe facebook is a double edged sword as even the best of us won’t get along with every customer.

I agree with Martin. every minute invested in SEO on your current website is money in the bank.

    Re: EMW issues

I often think of EMW as one of the best examples of outstanding service I have come across.

I have found them to be utterly reliable, and their replacement modules when confirmed to be in stock are on my doorstep, as promised next day without fail.

I have returned 1 module which developed a fault after a few months and recieved a replacement module with the same express service the following day.

One day I hope to be that efficient and reliable!

    Thanks for that stuff Jim

The fault does’nt match any fault code indicators

Instead all lights including on off and start flash rapidly until the power is interupted..

    Re: Hotpoint TDC32 Stops dead

sorry should have got back on this one,
Fault was a ‘crispy’ micro switch on the door.
As the dryer got hot the door opened just enough to turn off the worn door switch.
New micro switch fitted, working fine

Agree 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} especially if sink is near to washing machine. A quick simple check is to check resistance between appliance (plugged in but not switched on at socket) and the sink or taps if unpainted. should be minimal resistance.

    Re: wheres the work gone?

Gettin plenty of work off internet these days..

mostly good quality stuff as well, no time wasters apart from the odd diy pickin your brains but i usually happy to help with that and it often leads to a job or referal.

Signing up with Free directories works well and one of the best is

where you will get a really pro write up and a free link to your website if you have one.

    Re: card services

ask the rep about usage charges

for instance if your monthly transaction charges earn the processing company less than £16 per month then that minimum usage fee will be added on to your monthly bill (£16) on top of rental charges etc.

    Re: WVT1260GB/01

Had the same fault myself last year and noticed the on/off supply to the valve

But a new valve sorted it.
