    Re: Miele Spare Parts

Make friends with your local Miele dealer and order from them. Our local guys get us spares super quick and with their discount (even on new Miele appliances we’ve had off them) they’re tuff to beat.

    Re: LG F1402FDS6 Smell

At the board it’s usually a dry joint on the pcb that burns out not the connector itself and as the board is coated in resin you cant get to it to repair it or i’ve never been able too anyways.

Hi yes had this a few times and it’s always one or the other and just for good measure sometimes both!…annoying!. Carry the selector pcb as van stock now so can try that first.

The plug connector on the door lock is a first stop for burning smell for me on those, if not then the main “power in” connector on the lower pcb.

Re: Estate agents asking for 30 days invoice

Waiting for payment from the tennants rent is a bad game letting agents play and we wont do work for any that do that. Been caught out by tennants holding back rent for other reasons or moving out with arrears and the letting refusing to pay as “no money in the rent account” “We’ll contact the landlord and see IF he will pay you direct” Like it’s my problem!

Re: Hotpoint – Indesit Fridge Freezer Fires

You have a point with cables on vac’s drills etc but on those products customer input has more to do with the failure than design. The way the cable is coiled badly and tugged and so on. On the fridge door it’s just design as you cant really open and close the door wrong. Is the mod easy to fit? As will maybe see a few out of g.tee jobs as time goes by.

Give the motor plug wires a tug and one will most likely come off in your hand

Sounds like the program hasn’t completed yet maybe? Cust thinks it’s finished when it goes quiet but realy it’s still got 15 mins drying then it will drain that last bit of water.

    Re: yellow pages

Give it a miss and you’ll never look back! Too many different classifications in yellow pages too, appliance repairs, washer repairs, cooker repairs, dryer repairs, vacuum repairs blah blah blah, money money money.
