TDW59.2FI?
It’s almost a certainty that the air break will be clogged if it’s over 2 years old.
Same problem as the Smeg branded ones but with cheaper customers 🙄Craig

We’ve had this fault show when the motor’s failed before. You can sometimes hear a faint pulsing sound when this happens.
Also had the famous Smeg Soap Dispenser problem throw this up as well.
Unlikely to be the timer, but it’s always an outside bet.

We’re not asked to do much for UKW, but it would be nice if we could all try a little harder when we are asked to help out.
We help them; they help us.
If we adopt such negative attitudes then we’re going to find it hard to make any headway.
It’s bad enough with the WPs, retailers and manufacturers trying to grind us down without dumping on each other.

Sometimes the machines will go on to this after first displaying another fault. Run the machine through a cycle again to see where it stops and it should display the underlying fault code (although sometiimes not for long).

Part number is correct.
You could also try:
CDA on 01949 862 012
EAC on 08709 099 100
AIS on 01245 320 992
Credit card at the ready.
Please note that these are not parts suppliers, but are companies who have service involvement with this machine under various guises.
Of course, you could also drop Dave Conway an email and see if he can sort it out for you 😉

ModeratorRe: Error E4 on Necht Dushwasher
E4 on these piles of poo is supposed to mean that the temperature sensor has failed. Either the thermostat has popped or there is a wire not properly connected.
Some (not all) have a reset stat which may have tripped.
If you can see an ‘L’ shaped element inside the dishwasher then it’s probably the stat that’s tripped.
If you can’t see this element then you’ll have a heater chamber with embedded stats. Changing this is not a DIY job and will require a professional to change (try Repairs@ for someone local).👿 Haier :haier:
If you decide to take a look yourself then please pull the plug first :plug:

The RH Top Hinge is part number 246000200 for models prior to 28/11/1996 and part number 246009800 for models made after this date.
This appliance actually built by the Merloni group and badged as a Homark.
I don’t have a price for this hinge but if you give it some time, someone will respond with what you’re after.
If all else fails you could try:
Expert Appliance Care on 0870 9099100 or
Anglo Iberian on 0845 320992
who may also be able to supply you with the part.

I’ve had another look and I think you were right the first time.
The function knob only has five settings: Upper Element, Lower Element, both Upper & Lower Elements, Grill and Lamp.
I think it’s safe to say that there is no fan element in this machine and that there has been a printing error in the spares manual.
