Depends on how old it is.

If it was bought before 28/11/96 then the part number for the bottom hinge is 246000100 (top hinge 246000200).

If it was bought on or after 29/11/96 then the bottom right / top left hinge is 246009700 and the top right / bottom left hinge is 246009800.

There’s nothing special about these hinges and generic ones should fit. Many engineers carry a set or two of general purpose hinges which should fit this.

Try Repairs@ for a local engineer.

Part number for the element is 31X6062 and retails at around £29.99 excluding VAT & P+P from MFI on 0845 7959722.

The nice lady at Extracare is right – this is not a recognised error code. The 4th light should never flash on it’s own.
Try the reset procedure in case the board got a little fright when the door was wrenched open.

Could also be the door lock sticking in the ‘closed’ position. Usually caused by the fascia cracking internally.

We’ve recently been to a Beko D2731 and found that a blockage in the spray arms was causing it to stick during the programmes.

    Worth a try :con:

Depends when in the cycle it sticks. If it goes through the rinse at the start then there’s a fair chance that the heater is out of action. Check the heater & the stat.

That and the massive delay for the spares to actually arrive. Unfortunately that’s the situation we found ourselves in all too often. 🙁

kwatt’s had a good look at some of these Pyros (I think he even had one of the Brandts 😡 ). He’s not in the office right now but if he doesn’t pick up on this later try dropping him an email.

Standard DeDietrich tech advice for fault-finding:

Replace all boards then see if it’s helped any. If not, replace all boards a second time and hope for the best. After that, you’re on your own.

Clivejameson has just bumped the tip of the iceberg for what you’ll probably end up going through unless they’ve sorted themselves out since we last had any involvement with them 🙄

I’m sure that they did have English tech info available on-line at one time, but I can’t access Agora anymore to check. I’m sure that someone who still drinks from this poisoned chalice could take a look for you.

No. The safety stat basically acts like a fuse and goes open circuit to prevent any further damage. It does not cause any damage to other components and will not cause a fuse to blow.
    The problem will lie elsewhere.

Re: washing up Liquid disaster – diplomat

This is a Brandt built machine.

There’s a resettable thermostat at the back of the sump (behind the lower spray arm). If the heater’s cut out then you’ll need to press the button on this.
There’s also a chance that the sealed base has flooded and activated the anti-flood switch. The water will need to be drained from the base to release this switch.

Power off please if you’re going in :zap:

In this instance there should have been an error code displayed by the lights. Normally for this fault you would have the first three lights all flashing together.
I realise that this information won’t help you any, but it will make me feel slightly better for having posted 🙄
