Re: SMEG DISHWASHER Mod. DWF 66?

Might just be needing a reset though. Do a search for “Smeg AND reset” or “Diplomat and reset” if you need information on how to do this; it’s been posted many times before.

E8- This alarm is generated when, at the programme start, the timer card does not detect the signal coming from the alternate valve positioning.

this defect can be caused by :
    -faulty alternate valve
-electric connections not properly carried out
    -defective electronic card

Re: Electrolux ESl 424 slight leak

Please unplug this appliance and do not use it until the fault has been repaired. Water leaking onto the motor presents a risk of fire, although more likely it would just trip the electrics.

    Draining fault

If it’s not a blockage or a dodgy pump check the turbidity sensor at the back of the sump

To play devil’s advocate here I think Mike could be given the benefit of the doubt on this one. He posted posted less than 10 mins after P45; he may well have started his reply before the penguinator posted his (we’ve all been distracted during a post ourselves I’m sure, or maybe he’s not the fastest of typers or likes to check over what he’s written before he hits submit).
I doubt he reposted the info P45 had just put up intentionally, more likely he just didn’t get it up quick enough (yes yes, oo-er missus and all that 🙄 ).

The only other possibility to the Cannon would be the Lofra PXUD66GGI/C. These are relatively new to the UK but I have been impressed by the build factor and overall good quality. They come very well packaged too on their own pallet. You can view them here http://www.lofra.co.uk

    Navillus,

I’ve moved your other post in here and deleted that thread to keep things tidy; there’s enough Smeg/Diplomat+reset threads out there already.

I’ve posted the information you were after in here as well to help you out.

Switch on with door on/off button

Within 3 secs (before display comes on) press programme button 4 times

Lights 1 & 5 should now be flashing (if not repeat until you have this situation)

Press programme button once more and you should be left with only the 5th light flashing.

    Switch off (don’t close door)

Leave for a few seconds then switch back on.

    Select programme and close door

Machine should now work (stick it on a rinse – if it gets past the main fill you should be OK)
