    Navillus,

Your machine is registering a fault with part of the pressure fill system.

This is most likely a fault with the board to be honest, and it may well just need reset. Do a forum search for Smeg AND reset or Diplomat AND reset to find out more about how to try this.

There is also the possibility that the board may have failed (£126.80 excluding VAT & P+P to replace).

There may also be a blockage within the fill system.

I’d try a reset first, and if that doesn’t cure the problem I’d recommend that you get an expert in to diagnose and repair the fault for you. Try Repairs@ for someone local.

Re: Soap Powders & Technology Training

Here, I’ve just caught a glimpse of the freebies being handed out at the new training sessions 😯

Two big boxes of washing powder, a bag of trendy new dishwashers tablets, a nifty polo shirt and a Regatta fleece on top of the training literature.

    I don’t suppose I could sumbit myself for re-training? 😛

Times are hard and I could be doing with one of those UKW fleeces for the winter 😀

Very likely to be the module. Dave should be able to get you part numbers & prices.

Nice easy job if that’s what it is; in and out in 10 minutes unless the lino sticks to the bottom of the machine 😉

Gerry, if you could post the model number then we might be able to help a bit more.

Unfortunately no, we can’t. We can give you some general pointers but when things become technical we can’t give you a blow-by-blow account of how to do it.

Regardless of your own disclaimer any other browser of this thread would receive the same instructions and they might not be so forgiving.

Generally it’s a side off, get a little wet job that only requires a screwdriver. The hardest part is usually getting the machine in and out.

It won’t matter what speed you’re running at if the server’s down; if it can’t be found then it will time out for everyone just the same.

    🙁

Sometimes the board will go on to this sequence after previously displaying another fault code. If you find this, run the machine again and when it stops you should get the proper fault code; you’ll probably end up with 1,2 & 3 flashing & 5 on (E7). This will normally just be a reset job as P45 described above.

I have no idea why it does this 😕

    Re: E Mail pictures

    From Outlook’s help menu:

If you are experiencing problems sending pictures in your e-mail messages to a specific recipient, your picture might be too large for your mail server or for the recipient’s mailbox.

Attachments are converted into a special format for e-mail messages. When you send attachments over the Internet (Internet: A worldwide network of thousands of smaller computer networks and millions of commercial, educational, government, and personal computers. The Internet is like an electronic city with virtual libraries, stores, art galleries, and so on.), these attachments can be considerably larger than the original file size. Some mail servers will only send or receive messages under a certain size limit. Check with your mail administrator or Internet service provider
