Err – you need to know who you ignored……… Find a post, the ignored post tells you they’re ignored and lets you access a menu. Iv’e just ignored and unignored (can you say that?) Samuri, so it’s all working.

There should be no water in the base at all………

I’m afraid it looks like the usual Chinese tat – they tiddle water everywhere (the circulation pump is especially bad at this) and the elcetronics fall over for fun.

I really wouldn’t advise you to spend money on it.

    :conf: ….. 😀

OK, basics. First action on any programme is to run the drain pump. You need to check whether or not there is a circuit through the pump motor, then check the wiring in the door at the pivot point as they are prone to breakages.

    That’s your starter for 10.

Re: diplomat adp 8132 dishwasher – Stays on and on!

    Right – couple of points.

Glass programme is the quick wash – this runs against time. The other programmes require the machine to get to a fixed temperature to allow the prorgamme to proceed. If it doesn’t, it will eventually time-out and beep beep beep…..

The re-set procedure is only appropriate to clear the E7 flowmeter problem; if you are showing only LED5, press programme button again to light LED1 as well. Switch off to complete procedure, then run the rinse programme only.

The latest fault reported is E1, which is flood protection system activated. The tray under the machhine may well have water in it.

I think you’ll find that the root problem is still the heating circuits or the pcb losing it’s marbles.

We can’t always give instant responses. The board is run by professional repairers who will obviously be out at work during the day. I’ve just done 9-7.30.

Good luck with your NEFF, it’s a sensible choice with a decent warranty.

Have you looked in the tray under the machine to see if it’s full of water?

    Re: Smeg DWI16 12C Lights 4 & 5 on

Lights 4+5 indicate that the programme has completed. If the door latch is in the closed position, you cannot reprogramme the machine.

Re-set procedure is only appropriate for the E7 error.

Pcb is in the facia – next to the door latch. 😀

Stay safe, power off if you intend to resolve this yourself.

Re: SMEG DWD 612 C Dishwasher – Possible E1 fault

The reset procedure is only applicable for the E7 fault, and it doesn’t sound like you are completing that procedure properly.

E1 is flood protection activated. LED 1 and LED 5 should be lit – what are you actually getting?

It’s a SMEG with a badge, which brings its own set of problems. Running the plates or pots and pans wash should get to 65c – if you open the door, this should be a pall of steam/steam your glasses up job…

If the machine is doing this, you’re probably looking at some sort of pcb logic failure. If it’s only getting mildly warm, you need to investigate the heater circuit. Surpisingly enough, extended running will warm the water through friction.

Stay safe, power off before going in.
