Circulation pump or mains suppressor are prime suspects….. Chaffed wiring the door possible, but not common these days.

    Power off when investigating.

Re: Bosch SPS6432GB waste blocked – unblocked + won’t restar

Regret information so far is somewhat misleading. The switch bank is a selector for an electro machanical timer, so the “reset” procedure (for the digital machines) will not work. There is no aqua-stop fill hose on this machine.

Any water in the undertray needs to be mopped out, for electrical safety if nothing else.

Assuming that the machine was at least part way through the cycle when this happened, you could try selecting the prewash programme. This should advance the programme round to the end, allowing you to try restarting.

Power off if you are going inside.

Presumably the bearings are on their way out – time for a new fan motor. P/no is 3581913-77/3, email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

We can’t tell you exactly how to fit the part, sufficed to say that you will need to acces the motor from inside the cavity and through the back of the machine, so it will have to come out of the housing. Be careful, these double units are very heavy!

    Power off, of course.

The flood protection system has been activated – water has probably made its way into the undertray. This must be drained and the leak found and corrected.

This is an exceptionally awkward machine to work on, I would recommend getting some pro help – click the link below for a UKW engineer in your area.

Power off if you are going to investigate further.

Yup – P4 Known Error Codes 😀 . Reset should clear it.

I think it’s the door as an assembly on this one, Mike. It’s about £45 from memory, but I can’t find the part number……. 😳 . Bear with us, someone will have it somewhere.

Chinese dishwasher – Haier to be exact. Water leak is almost always caused by use of dishwasher tablets, which froth excessively and leak into the undertray of the dishwasher. If you’re going to keep this one going, use powder, rinse aid and salt as separates.

The computer board has almost certainly failed, probably the leak getting somewhere it shouldn’t.

Regret I have no indication of cost, I would contact MFI at the earliest opportunity.

On earlier versions the probe for the varistat was located there. Later versions have the probe integral with the heater above, so the hole is now redundant.

Bear in mind Martins comment with regards to objects getting caught under the drum…….

Now you know that the element will only last ten minutes if you do that…………. Put it on defrost and tell us if the fan runs.. 😆

Motor controller is unable to decide what mains voltage it should be working at. You need a new one – p/no 425895P. I understand that re-conditioned boards are available if you look hard enough.
