    Re: Indesit D41UK leak

In theory, an overfill should leak down the tube. I’ve been to so many of these where they leak from the tube seals to the tub (It’s a screw fit).

Been having a look at this Tell – there are 7 versions of this one 😯 – have you got the rest of the letters? After M911—? Serial number doesn’t help I’m afraid.

Looks like phase 5 size error.

Hold “Temp Up” in, then hit “Power”. To set the machine for 5kg load, push “Wash Temp Up”, then “Power”. The Cold Water LED should light. To set the machine for 6kg load, push “Water Level Up” and “Power”. The Low Water LED should light. For 7kg, push “Spin Speed up”, then “Power”. Hold Spin Speed LED should light.

    To test, run a programme………

    Re: IDESTIT OMEGA 1200 (WDG1295W)-water doesn’t heat

Water heating problem – probably element, p/no C00044772, although these machines do suffer wiring problems at the back of the drum.

Drying problem – fan motor not running is common – motor is p/no C000562883. The duct and the condenser housing are also so and soes for becoming bunged up with fluff and preventing airflow.

    Power off if investigating.

If you need to order spares, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk quoting the part numbers will get things moving for you.

Anyone been paying attention to IADOM (Jim)? Well over 1k posts now, sensible and non-controversial, GSOH and knowledgable. Might be worth bearing in mind for this little group.

    Re: Hoover WDM1301 drum bearings

It’s a tank out job to do it – unlimited patience required. Allow £40-50 for bearings and seal set and tub front gasket. You may, after having stripped it all down, find the shaft damaged – that’s when it gets really expensive, and the costs will exceed the value of the appliance. However, you won’t know ’til it’s apart…..

Apart from that, it’s funtime with a BIG hammer and steel bar.

    Power off, of course.

If you could find the actual model number it would help us to identify which Sovereign you have.

Re: New Pol Super 800/ Servis 302

The Super 800 was from Domar. DBT58 fits the Proline T1000, which was a Balay machine, so it won’t fit I’m afraid.

It’s been officially obsolete for many years, so it’s a case of old stock if you’re lucky.

Re: Indesit w93 washing machine problem

Honest answer? For £280 you can buy the base model Bosch – a far superior appliance.

You may need the EEPROM changing, if the code is correct. I’ve never fitted one yet, so the computer board is a more likely candidate. They range from £70-£120, plus the VAT, so on a cheap machine it just isn’t cost effective.

    Time to buy something decent.
