    Re: Homark hob ignition required

Only you know the hob’s model number. What you do is slip the oven out of the housing (undo the security screws first), then crawl in and look up………

Without it you have very little chance of finding the part you require, so many models over the years…………

    Re: Servis m3024 wont spin

    Have a look at this:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … age&pid=57

Also, check belt tension – it should be extremely tight – none of the old 1/2″ deflection on the longest run. It will also refuse to spin if it thinks it’s full of water.

Beyond that, it will be a rather more technical problem and Pro help might be your best option.

Re: Zanussi Aqua 1250 intermittent spin

Thanks. This machine uses two separate water level (or pressure) switches, which are operated by the displacement of air. One is fed from an air chamber mounted on the side of the tub to filter box hose, the other from a chamber on the top of the filter box itself. Either or both are prone to choking with debris thus restricting the air flow. They will probably need stripping and thoroughly cleaning.

Power off if you’re going to have a go yourself. :plug:

No idea! The thermistor is normally in the door, the one underneath is a boil-dry stat.

Re: Hotpoint 7822A – slight clean water leak

Easy fix – at the rear lower corner of the fill matrix, there is a black rubber hose that runs across the underside of the machine to the sump. This need to be removed and thoroughly cleaned out. Don’t forget to clean the spigots it mounts to as well.

    Power off please :plug: .

The flood protection system has been activated, causing the inlet valve to be deactivated. There will be a reset procedure for the valve in your users book, but given the “flashbang” occuring you may well be best to wait for the engineers.

Note that this info is based on the UK version, I can’t call up the German PNC number.

Have a look for a label in the area of the crisper bins. Seriously, with the plethora of different models you haven’t a hope without it.

Probably to do with sludge in the water level control system. Am unable to advise more accurately without the model number. Please don’t try and push start the motor – you may well lose your fingers.

Spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to get one for you Wendy, but the model number is essential – have a look in your Users book, or around the crisper bins for the numbers.
