Flood protection activating. Machine is detecting an overfill. May be faulty water level switch, possible that the air chamber is choked with sludge.

Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.

Obvious check – filter and drain coupling under the sink (if applicable).

    Re: Prima LPR600 puzzling problem.

It’s a Whirlpool, it will indicate faults by beeping and flashing the start light in a pattern, ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat. The one exception is the heater circuit, which may not cause an error. However, the machine would then wash forever.

PCB probable culprit – 12Nc number required if you’d like a part number – there are numerous versions.

Re: Baumatic BDW13 – Delay timer not showing “00”

How can I put this to you gently?

If you’d like the occasional use of a dishwasher, please buy one. What you have currently is an Oriental Water Feature. It’s Chinese, from the Midea factory and is utterly, utterly unreliable. Plese don’t waste your money trying to repair it.

E3 on this machine means that it has failed to achieve the selected temperature in the time allowed. The implication is that it has heated without water in, so firstly, it thinks it’s full when it isn’t and secondly, the safety cut-out for the heater circuit will have failed.

Accept defeat, learn, buy something decent.

Re: Prima LPR600 – top drawer gasket/seal/washer perished?

You need to buy the “spray arm assembly upper complete” to solve this problem. 12Nc number required to identify part number as there are numerous versions.

It’s a Whirlpool, so this might prove to be the most expensive bit of rubber you’ve ever bought.

Does it actually heat? Main wash and second rinse are hot washes. Programme may not progress properly if temperature is not reached.

Resitance check of the water valves is the place to start, assuming that the machine lights up and programmes? That or the lid switch – particularly prone to sogginess and corrosion.

Try 512012800. That’s an actual part number, btw, not some protectionist stock code.

Faulty p/sw or earth leakage through the motor.
