No drain detected in the time allowed – is there water still in the machine?

The sticky at the top of the forum referes to diagnostics for the “SmartDrive” family of machines – yours pre-dates them. Bigsmokepiker should be able to help you out with some info on these ones.
In the meantime, does the drain pump actually run? Is the pump filter clear? Can you get water flowing if you manipulate the drain hose?

The problem to consider is that there is going to be a significant “hike” in prices across the board over the next couple of months due to all the exchange rate problems. Until that happens and things settle down again, there is no surefire way of knowing what the new price banding of a “budget” machine is going to be………

Throw plastic ring away. Replacement seal (502062787009 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly) has a different profile to the inner lip and the ring is no longer rquired.
Yes, it’s the spring gaiter band.

Condenser housing is probably full of fluff.

Assuming the Indesit connection is correct, two flashes suggests a problem with the drive motor. It’s possible that the carbon brushes in the drive motor have worn out, broken wiring in the loom between the motor and the pcb or a problem on the pcb itself.
Sorry I can’t be more specific.

Carbon brush motor in this one. E50 faults refer to the motor, so the brushes are the place to start.
Useful article HERE.
Power off if you intend to tackle this yourself.

ParticipantRe: How to refit (replace?) Proline (etc) Tumble dryer door
Door seal simply hooks over the edge of the raised flange on the front of the casing. It doesn’t go anywhere near the drum.
If you want a replacement, it’s p/no C00095978 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.
