Correct – this mildly unfortunate thread is not the one to do it in, though.

Pressure switch is now stuck in the Full position – it thinks that it’s full of water when it isn’t.Heater is an immersion type, so if has been on wothout water it will be fritzed.

Check the collecting bell on the side of the sump hose again, then replace element.

If the rivets are slightly loose, they can be drilled out and replaced with M6 nuts and bolts. Be warned that getting the hub dead central is critical to quiet running.

    Re: Pumps in a Dishwasher

Most dishwashers have a recirculation (wash) pump and a drain pump for emptying the water from the machine. A very few machines have a combined unit for both functions.

We’d need a make and model to give a more exact answer 0 bear in mind that many European models do not appear on UK technical listings.

Only the hose complete listed – 299756 is the p/no. Price is a bit eye watering at £72.

You need the 4 digit code from the rating plate or you’ve got no chance.

Take the opportunity to remount the pcb on the back of the rail, rather than the front – it’ll save you twenty minutes when that little blighter fails next.

Re: Fisher Paykel MW511 multiple error codes

Drive motor stall. Possiblities are wiring, rotor position sensor (rps) or motor controller board.

Wiring is the place to start, especially as you say things may have got wet. Check where the loom turns under the drum for breakages and chaffing, then where it connects to the rps and star point (motor connectors). Make sure both are secured in place. If they’re wet, you have a problem. Corrosion issues due to long term water leakage is also an issue.

RPS is a regular failing. It’s a Hall Effect sensor, and they do go faulty.

Or possibly a sock under the drum could be jamming the rotation.

If it all checks out, you’re looking at the motor controller board.
